That would be okay if it was very rare, I could buy it happening very occasionally.

Wrong champ. That would be the 1899 Cleveland Spiders (20-134, .130 WPCT).

I know when The Wolf is joking and when he has gone too far. It's hard for me to explain. I just understand. Maybe my sarcasm-sensors are more highly-tuned than yours. Maybe I can look past the jabs, have a deep look at the person throwing them and see why they are being thrown. Honestly I don't really know.

Sure, I could list multiple instances where I thought he was out of line. But I could also list multiple instances where other people are out of line as well. I guess it boils down to that I have accepted him for who he is and I haven't tried to make him fit into what I deem to be a "social norm". I try to be kind to all people. Especially those who need my kindness the most.
Shoot, Pawn we could turn this into a huge battle, but I'd rather just let it go. I don't know how well you know me or if you read my posts, but I think you know me enough to realize, I don't get in a ton of disputes on this forum. This was just one of those times when something got under my skin and I lashed out. One thing to keep in mind though, often the way folks respond to The Wolf is in direct proportion to how he himself behaves. In fact, I think he enjoys stirring folks up and that my friend is a round about way of saying at times he behave like a troll. Sometimes the be nice to the bully advice works, other times it just makes the bully stronger.

This is my last words on this ......except to say, there is absolutely no way your sarcasm sensors are stronger than mine. You probably just have lower standards Just kidding. Peace out and if go have a beer on me.

I've had my disagreements with The Wolf over the years, but I don't think he's ever gone too far with me.

Does anybody know if the "feature" - as described here: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...e-problem.html - that was introduced with the version 13 historical transactions file has been addressed?

The problem is that this bug can essentially rob you of players (who might be needed to fill out rosters, depending upon how you're playing) by retiring them prematurely, and making your Retire According to History and Miss Seasons According to History settings meaningless.

(I've been using the v12 historical transactions file in all versions since, due to this bug.)

What always amazes me about this board is that people here will react to facts with insults. I'm on a lot of boards and I don't see that kind of behavior anywhere else. And if I respond to the insults thrown at me here, none of which ever draw warnings, then I get one. So I end up posting the truth and getting called names by people who should know better and I don't call them names back. Whatever.

the question I have is if you start a historical season say starting in 1901 will the minor leagues automatically or will I have to manually put them in, also when it comes to historical players will these be in the game and will new players be introduced yearly, so say I start in 1901 then when I get to the 1902 season will those players be automatically added or will I need to add them in, then the last question would be will the players be added each year I continue my league?

The minors as of 1919-1926 will just start with one league, the Texas League. In 1927 the International League is added, in 1930 the Western League and then things really start to explode from there.

Indy, Negro and International leagues aren't currently included in the default setup. Maybe that's a feature for the future, let's hope so! I know we have a lot of the data collected.

Markus - I love the option to allow the trading of injured players. Quick question on that. Will the AI properly take into account the player's injury (especially if it's long-term) when weighing trading for an injured player? Or will it just be based on their stats/ratings/whatnot like it was previously?

If this is what I think it is, then it's a HUGE addition. I was planning on not buying a version for the first time since I started in OOTP14, but this might be what changes my mind.

I'm thinking more that it means you can bring your closer in based on how high the LI is rather than how late the inning is...which is the logical way to do it.

To be fair you have done the exact same as well just you would never admit to it.

In relation to the features I cannot wait for the game speedup. 16 is going quite slow with the size of the league Im running now.
