How do you import players to a team if the players are from different years/eras?

You have to import the historical players from the database. Step by step is in the manual.

How about picking the worst pitcher and hitter as well and you cannot cut any of the 4 players unless it's an injury.

Hey guys. Got the teams imported and the settings in place. Just need to import the players. Hopefully tomorrow. Got a wedding to go to and work in AM so I'll keep you posted.

Realized some of the ballparks did not import nor did logos/jersey so went in and fixed those. I'll try to finish the rest and start the sim this evening. Here is the league layout. Going to use 1979 setting for neutrality.

OK, having an issue importing Johan Santana. I'm using player ID: santajo02 and year 2004 but I keep getting player failed to import. Any ideas on what's happening? Harmon Killebrew imported fine...

weird. I was using his ID from baseball ref. It worked though! Gotta go to a bday party and then drive 4 hours home after but hoping to have this all done tonight and get underway.
