Oooh, that would be cool. And you can just port over the OOTP UI. In place of the baseball strategy commands you can have buttons that say "Hurry!", "Hurry hard!", and "Off off off!"

I think the myriad of other evidence is a better sign.

My big question is will the game actually be released somewhat soon, is the announcement just to announce a far-off release date or perhaps there will be some kind of public beta or something.

In Francis' other blogs he mentioned hoping to have a version ready by end of 2013.... Who knows how far the game has come in the last few months.
