When looking at the game log, would it be possible to have hyperlinks for the players so I can see what they did in each of their plate appearances rather than having to scroll through the whole thing trying to find each instances in which the player shows up. For example, if I know that Player X went 4 for 7 with 1 BB, 3 runs and 6 rbi's in 17 inning game, I would like to click on Player X and see just those plate appearances.

I know there is a TOT line, but my preference is to just show 1 line of stats for each year.

I would agree with this - minor display issue, but I've said this to myself a hundred times.

If possible, add this to the MLB quickstart. It give a place for players who play there to actually play rather than sit out a year injured in the free agent pool and the *** is the league that MLB players most often go to and come from outside the US. Yeah, I know many players come from Latin America but in terms of leagues, Japan is still tops in terms of a organized, recognized league.

easy access draft logs.... stored by year.

And a link from the player's BNN page to the draft that they were in. At the bottom of the bio section, where it says "Drafted:2011, 1st Pick in Round 1". That line, or a portion of it, should link to the draft log, of that year.

Currently the draft log page linked above gets deleted after the season.

And a repost from another General Discussion Thread:

1. I'd like a small change to PbP commentary. I know I can get this info elsewhere, but for realism sake, I'd like the game to end with the pitching results. For example:

Ben Sheets gets the win and moves to 3-1 on the year.
Andrew Bailey gets his 2nd save of the season.
John Maine takes the loss and moves to 2-3 on the year.

2. One other small thing I would like to see is an option to remove pre-existing injuries in a new MLB game with one keystroke (either a checkbox in league options or a dialog box with a yes/no option). This is mainly for all the guys playing overseas who end up with a 12 month injury even though they are fine. I create the *** and Korean leagues and then have to remove all the injuries from former Major Leaguers. For those that don't care, I am sure they like the injuries since it keeps the AI from signing them when they can't do so in real life. So, an option to keep or remove the injuries should make everyone happy.

Not something I would use. But, if it's an issue with the MLB roster, this would make a good global function: "remove all injuries".

Didn't the older versions of the game use too have this feature?

Custom Playoff upgrade and user defined tie breakers

I would love to see the custom playoffs improved. To me, this is the only aspect of the game that is unfinished. I would like to see this ability to have the highest seed play the lowest seed throughout the playoffs. Also, adding byes to the playoffs would be great too. Lastly, giving the user some options to determine tiebreakers at the end of the year to determine who wins a division, and who gets the final playoff spots. I think this can be implemented Very easily, just look at Tony M's playoff editor!!

Thanks and great job on the game!

Can we get back the overview of the league structure witnin the Game Setup area? The overview in earlier versions would give you the league setup and number of teams. This feature In version 11 which makes it a pain when setting up leagues. You now have to manually count the number of teams. A big pain!

1.) Add mass select functionality to the Staff Search and Shortlist screen, why is mass select available on all other screens except Staff and personnel?

2.) Although mass select has made things very nice thus far, it's still very rudimentary, why not add an option to select only players on visible page, instead of every single player? Also, how about adding a "move" tab or option to temporarily move players to a team (similar to moving teams from different leagues/divisions in the league structure menu)?

3.) Last, create an option in the league set-up (preferably rules tab) that allows the creation of free agents for each league optional.

4.) Allow independent leagues to be fully functional

While managing a College team the abilty to turn off the scouting reports from your scout would be nice.

Triple crown winners are located in the league history under accomplishments.

Yes, this is a must for shorter/longer fictional leagues.

I would really like to see a feature where you could buy some time for a reliever to warm up, as is done in real life. A pitching coach trip to the mound, etc., so you can get a relief pitcher in more quickly when a starter melts down suddenly.

I've had quite a few times where a starter is basically sailing along, then bam, bam, bam, falls apart. If this is in a mid-inning before you have any up in the bullpen, by the time they get warmed up (3-4 batters), it's too late to control damage.

If there were a feature to buy some time and get a reliever in within a couple batters, it would make the game that much more realistic, IMO.

Here we go:

* Ability to reset Injuries and Fatigue(Markus told me to log this)
* Note Injuries on HTML Reports at top so they are noticeable
* Upload selected CSV Files in Commish Portal for Online Leagues
* Use Proper Tie Breakers in Ammy Draft Order
* Include draft order in CSV file!
* Fix It so that if you don't include names and retired dat files in league files, the file works.
* Feeder Leagues talent has a reason to how it is created

Make it so that when I do a historical league and say start in 1968 everybody who is already in the game doesn't have 'fragile' as their injury risk and i lose half my team by midseason with injuries on low the first few years.

There are many players created with running speed, stealing, base running and power at 1 (out of 250) and pitchers with individual pitch, movement or control ratings of 1. Extremely low ratings may apply to independent or high school leagues but I feel professional leagues should have higher ratings. Maybe a snail would have a running speed of 1. I think a minimum rating should be used for a league. Maybe 22 for Rookie, 25 for A, 33 for AA... Ratings should be on a bell curve. The higher the level the higher the median ratings. Maybe parameters can be added for rating maximums & minimums similar to age max & min. If these are left blank then the game would create ratings as it now does.
Real life ratings certainly are not on a bell curve, so that's not something we'd want to do in-game. There also aren't 'minimum ratings' in real life; some MLB players genuinely have a Power rating in the 1-10 out of 200 range for example, based on the statistical output you'd expect from such a rating.

Considering the work involved in rating the entirety of the Majors and minors - work that isn't finished - there's next to no chance that an entire other league will be added any time soon. It would also slow down sim time for the many users who wouldn't be interested in having an additional league in the quickstart, so it's unlikely to be added by default in any case.

One thing I'd like to see added in this "big update" is the ability to compare players in our league with players in other leagues (or games).

I'd be content just being able to compare the fictional players in my fictional-only league with players from the MLB history, in addition to comparing them with players in my league.

Knowing at a glance that some fictional guy is a Tony Gwynn type, or a Adam Dunn, type, etc., says a lot about them. You get to use the knowledge of the real MLB most of us already have, to our advantage in the game.

By being able to compare fictional players only to other fictional players, it doesn't help a lot unless we're familiar with our entire fictional universe.

Edit: yay, I'm now in rookie ball!
