All good ideas; start lobbying for them to be put into a patch or into OOTP XII.

For the hall of fame. If i want to manually induct my players instead of letting the AI do it based on criteria, will there be a list available somehwere on which players are eligible for induction each year so that I can run through those players to see which ones deserve to be in?

I'm still curious as to how often players change to managers. It was way too rare previously. Some clarification of this would be great!

Good request. I'm sure that this isn't in the initial release but it would be great to be able to set standards like they do in MLB for eligibility and then have a running list of the players who can be "voted in". Ideally I would then be able to then check off players who should no longer show up on the list going forward (representing the players who don't meet the 5% minimum voting requirement). Also, can we induct managers into the Hall of Fame?

Rick Ankiel of the Cardinals comes to mind as a recent pitcher turned hitter.

And in a supposed financial crisis in a team the owner shall be changed? (Owner A sell his team to Owner B)

Well if you're like me, it's probably because you were just scrolling down to see a new post and BAM! eyeball. I thought it was some sort of space monster until logic began to run.

Then when I progress through history, I can simulate the creation of the hall by lower the eligability number down to 5, and then all those old timers who should be in the Hall will then get properly elected, or will they get stuck in some sort of limbo.

Hope I explained my scenario properly.
If you have HOF off for X years, and then turn it on, the people from the first X years will NOT get suddenly elected later on. Basically, right now, the game checks when it processes player retirements at the end of a season. It doesn't go back and recheck every retired player to see if they match the new requirements...

ZR is a nice addition but I'm still baffled that RISP% for relief pitchers is not kept track of.

Defense Question ?

I'm really excited,to hear about the improvements in the defensive aspects of the game.I'm wondering what effect does importing a historical player--say an Aparicio or Brooks Robinson (Pick any great Defensive player) would have on a team's defense and the players rating itself. It sounds like some of the ratings are decided by the teams stats/pitching types--will the teams/players ratings just be recalculated or- ???
Thanks For Any Input
