This is bugging me so I finally have to say it. "Wherefore" means why. So the question in the title actually means why are you OOTP players, rather then where are you located. I still voted though. In my case, I live in Idaho so that answers both questions well enough

The best one is "Persson", in French it's pronounced the same way as "personne" which can mean "no one", so that can lead to very interesting play-by-play bits: "No one passes to Smith, Smith dekes, one-timer.... no one scores!" or even better, if Persson is the goaltender... "no one is in net for Philadelphia tonight".

Wherefore art thou, OOTP players?
Not very many people actually know what "wherefore" means. Very common misconception.

Main Entry: where·fore
Pronunciation: 'hwer-"fOr, 'hwar-, 'wer-, 'war-, -"for
Function: adverb
Etymology: Middle English wherfor, wherfore, from where, wher + for, fore for
Date: 13th century
1 : for what reason or purpose : WHY

So in answer to your question, because my parents had sex.

"Wherefore" means "why," not "where."

I'm from San Francisco.

EDIT: Rizon is my new best friend.

Love your avatar, by the way. My favorite band ever to live.

Bah, Floyd didn't get good until Roger Waters pushed everyone else out of the way.

Lol I think it's the exact opposite. I believe that the Barret era was interesting, but the Floyd's most productive period began just after Gilmour replaced the crazy diamond. A Saucerful of Secrets, Ummagumma, Atom Heart Mother, Meddle, Dark Side of the Moon and maybe even Wish You Were Here are interesting im ny opinion, but everything after Animals (except Comfortably Numb, Mother and Hey You) is just not as good as the rest. I think that if you watch Pink Floyd at Pompeii you will get the real spirit of Pink Floyd, when they were all united in creating good music and Waters wasn't a control freak.

I tend to favor one individual creator. I like to experience one person's creation. It's just so much more personal that way. And Waters has SO MUCH to write about.

But even beyond that, all of Gilmour's songs sound the same (that airy "Us and Them" sound) and all of Barrett's songs are just drug induced. The Wall really captured Waters's ability to write very eclectic, richly orchestrated songs. And beyond all that, the record has this sense of chronological cohesiveness to it, like a movie or a novel. You can trace the story from start to finish. It's probably the most brilliant record ever made.
