This is bugging me so I finally have to say it. "Wherefore" means why. So the question in the title actually means why are you OOTP players, rather then where are you located. I still voted though. In my case, I live in Idaho so that answers both questions well enough

I tend to favor one individual creator. I like to experience one person's creation. It's just so much more personal that way. And Waters has SO MUCH to write about.
But even beyond that, all of Gilmour's songs sound the same (that airy "Us and Them" sound) and all of Barrett's songs are just drug induced. The Wall really captured Waters's ability to write very eclectic, richly orchestrated songs. And beyond all that, the record has this sense of chronological cohesiveness to it, like a movie or a novel. You can trace the story from start to finish. It's probably the most brilliant record ever made.
