No. It's satisfied customers expressing opinions. Why does your legitimate negative opinion carry any more weight than positive opinions by others?

It isn;t just my opinion. Haven't noticed how inactive these forums have been the past few years, and it's getting worse. Most of the people who have negative opinions just don't come on the boards anymore. This is what will kill this game, the problems of the game being ignored version after version after version. The new version has been announced and these boards are still dead. That doesn't seem particularly promising.

Those who wish to continue to feel the problems are not eroding the customer base, do so. But when the day comes that the game goes down, don't sit around wondering why.

Huh? So what do you want me to do? Create some false outrage that I don't really feel to satisfy you. I've been a beta tester and I continue to post suggestions on how the game could improve. I respect your opinion and decision not to buy (if that's the case). Why do you continue to badger those who disagree with you?

I don't think OOTP is going away anytime soon.

Sorry, that's nonsense. How is it "let-it-slide" to back something that provides, in that buyer's mind, a great return on investment in terms of enjoyment. He enjoys the game a lot and finds what he spends on it a small price to pay for that enjoyment.

You may be disgruntled, and for whatever it is you're looking for in the game you may well be entitled. But to act as though those who enjoy it as is are doing some kind of disservice by not sharing your criticism is just ridiculous.

Well I don't really recall saying everyone should share my criticism. Please clip the part I said that.

Well I know I am not spending any more money on it and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one. As I said, based on the forums it sure does seem like many people have lost interest in it and I would guess some of those are just fed up with the long lasting problems just continuing on from version to version.

The reason I continue to point out the negatives is because the fan boys out there who use the game in a way where the problems don't effect them continue to try to tell those of us who deal with the issues that we are wrong because THEY don't see the problem so the "perceived" problem doesn't need fixing and all development time should be spent on garbage that doesn't have anything to do with the game engine problems or whatever.

I'd venture a guess that most of the ones who don't see any real problem are the ones who sim all their games, therefore they couldn't possibly see the problems since they feel the end results are about what they want to see. It's a completely different issue for those who actually play the game.

Show me where I said there are no problems with the game.

Apology

I'd like to apologize to everyone in the forums for my attitude of late. I got bad news about my wife's health a few days ago and the company I drive for hasn't gotten me home yet. I think it is best if I stay off-line until I do get home and get out of this bad mood I have been in.

Response I was going to write means little now...best of luck to you and your wife, an immeasurably far greater concern.
