After receiving more than 3,000 submissions from the community, and reviewing countless designs and trademarks, the Winston-Salem Professional Baseball Franchise is set to reveal their new identity at a fan event this Thursday the 4th. Somehow I am betting that Rhinos is one of the 3,000 and it is the choice of the owner.

The early reports are that it will be the Winston-Salem Dash (High Class A; Carolina League; White Sox).

Of all their final choices, I think "Crushers" was the lamest and most generic. I am, however, impressed by the "LE" logo.

The Columbus Clippers (AAA-Indians) of the International Leauge have unveiled new uniforms.

The Boston Red Sox will be introducing new uniform elements on Thursday which apparently includes a new alternate cap.

Interesting. Five separate colours are used. I wonder if printing costs have come down since I was in the business. The more spot colours one used the more expensive was the printing, and thus the tendancy to usually use three spot colours for a design.

Colours: Dark blue-1b2e59, Light blue-a4d5f3, Orange/red-ec3537, Road grey-b0b8bb

I'm not happy with the ball cap logos as they were small and increasing them in size meant increasing distortion. However, they don't seem too bad in-game. If anyone can come up with better images, that would be awesome!
