all they got is boxing nothing else...all paul would have to do is to get past a boxer is 1...stay out of his range which is easy for a big man...pauls arms are longer then floyds legs...2 get in close...you get passed floyds boxing to trap fighting and guess what he cant box you from close quarters and finally 2 take him down to the ground....now i know a boxer cant box from the ground...how does he bridge this gap one may ask...very simple...its called cadences and fakes....or you can charge eat a few shots get in close take him down and smash him...that my friend is ground and pound and ill bet paul wight can ground and pound him to a bloody pulp...now.....

why do i say that...its cause we already know that paul wight can eat mayweathers shots..he done did and if you noticed..when he hit paul.....he ran like a little bitch....cause he knew he done ****ed up...

no man eats shots like that even if its an accident...and we know that was no accident...floyd hit him with all that he got...how do i know this...cause as a martial artist..i know how to box..and i know to get the max effort into your punches you put your hip in to it....and floyd put his hip into it..if he ment it to be fake he would have never put his hip into it...so ill put all my money down that paul wight would destroy him even if paul eats a few mayweather punches hence if de la hoya can eat his punches so can paul wight
I had a hard time getting past the sentence where you call yourself an expert... And JKD, please. I rather have a hockey enforcer who is actually used to fighting and who knows how it feels to eat a punch watching my back than any self proclaimed JKD "expert".

Or you know he ran because the script told him to run.

There are so many if’s and but’s when you discuss “Street fighting”. Everyone has their own beliefs about it and here is one of my reflections for what it is worth.

While I admit that I also think that boxing is limited in someways (use of kicks, knees, elbows and so on) it also has a big…no, huge advantage over many martial arts and styles. Boxers are used to train and fight with hard contact. There are so many blackbelts and highly graded martial artists that have no clue whatsoever of how they react when they are hit in the face with force. Every boxer that has ever stepped into the ring knows how it feels to get hit and how he/she reacts when facing an opponent that tries to knock you out for real. The experience of “real” fighting (contrary to light-contact or semi-contact, full-contact with helmets and pads and so on) is in my mind the most important, by far, “weapon” in a situation where you have to defend yourself.

Boxing has gotten a rep of being limited but at the same time people tend to forget that it is one of the few fighting arts that has focused on “real” fighting. Boxing is a no bs fighting art. No secret techniques, no nonsense training,…no bs. Imo boxing as a “style”, as limited as it is in terms of “weapons”, is nowhere near as limited as…Say Jeet Kune Do, Taekwondo, many styles of Karate, Wing-Chun and many, many more.

I think I had some Wing-Chun with lo-mein on the weekend. A little too spicy.

Didn't see the match, but read that Mayweather, after being grabbed around the neck, kicked Big Show in the groin, hit him with a steel folding chair, then put on some brass knuckles and delivered the "finishing blow." This was just about as ridiculous as the time they let Rey Mysterio Jr. beat up Kevin Nash.

Call me crazy, but I'm beginning to suspect that pro wrestling just might not be real...

Please don't tell me there isn't an Irish leprechaun who keeps filling my glass on Saint Patrick's Day!

Amongst the Irish male community, (of which I am a member), this is our leprechaun of choice!

And a fine one she is! I think that, as the evening goes along, that's how all women look to me!
