Help!!!
I have been able to use the game sinse March of this year. I bought a HP laptop with Vista and can't download the game. eLicense support, Andreas, Curcuit City and Dan Cuoco one of the bata testers have all tried to help but still can't run the game. Can someone with Vista tell me in baby steps how the got the game to run. Thanks in advance, Austin |

Austin, we will need more info about the problems. Error messages and so on. Usually you just download TB2, install it and start it. What exactly are you doing and what's happening then?

I down loaded it of ootp site the demo at first when i clicked on the game icon it would start for a second then it would stop i don't know much about computers i went to the directory found tb2.exe and clicked on it and the demo started running i quit the game and then started it again it ran ok after i down loaded the demo i went to the TB 2.0.28 beta available -it's MS Vista compatible thread down load that on top of the demo.At first i didn't know how to license it then i went to the trouble shooting & tech support thread that where i found out how to license it. But i.m down now i have no ideal what i did wrong i made another data base named it WebDB because i was going to down load from corner works site load the 1970 & 80's had a few fights then loaded myDB back up and at said no ratings file for Ahaim or something like that said it would create one for him so i clicked on ok it went to next fighter same thing went on for a few fighter same thing i turn off computer started up same thing in the games data base it has the data base i created list but in the directory under DATA directory all it has is the defult file. I have uninstalled it started all over again same thing i went backed deleted everthing i could fine that had any thing to do with TBCB2 down loaded everthing again from the site again re installed again same thing no rating files the odd thing is after all that the WebDB is still listed in the game database but not in the directory so i am at the end now to have no ideal of what to do next. If anybody has any ideal of what i need to do let me know.Bill

Locate the file tb2.exe in the TB program directory, right click on it, click on "Properties", then "Compatibility", then on "Run as admin". |

One more question; I would like to transfer my database of boxers from my desktop computer to my laptop. I can't figure out the file name that holds all the boxers rated in the game.
Thanks in advance, Austin |

Austin i email all of my data files and then down load to my new computer i had to make them into zip files but it worked if your computer is win 2000 or newer you can get one of the usb flash drives about 2GB and just load all of your DATA DIR and files then pug it in to your new computer down load to your TBCB DATA dir.should work then you can use the flash drive to back up all your data files that is what i do every time i add something new to my files you can get bigger flash drives then that or smaller the bigger the more they cost you can get a 2GB at wal-mart for about 25-35 dollars.Good luck Bill

Thanks, Bill!
It's not only one file - you have to copy the complete "database" which is a subfolder of the /Data folder in the TB2 program directory. Usually the name is "myDB". Just copy it to the same folder on the target computer, then start TB2, open the Game Options screen and select the Database. |
