I dunno, dare i say the mods do a better job in deleting unecessary posts and banning people that have nothing really to say, kinda like this post

Any post with a dancing banana is a legit and necessary post in my book!

Yeah, and it takes all of two seconds to update it with a logo and photo set.

Everyone needs to tone the rhetoric down a notch. Tolerance for insults and trolling in this forum is low, and threatening to become non-existent if this stuff keeps up.

I agree what the hell has gotten into this board. There is way too much bad blood going around for a game. Some people all around, including myself who is getting a bit worked up over immaturity need to chill out.

I agree that this is getting to be quite a tired act, but still interesting nonetheless. Some people like to read about PAP and VORP, and OPS+ Some people enjoy watching others make fools of themselves behind their shroud of anonymity.

Are you a Minnesota Viking ? Do you work for the USA Today ?
My point ? What is the relevance of your questions ? I assume you are insinuating that I need a law degree to read or understand what I have read. If you read the links I provided, you will see the law clearly states that using MLB names and statistics are, at this time, perfectly legal. |

Let me be plain. There will be no real names without Sega corporate legal signoff, and that won't happen until the MLB appeal is dealt with. |

And your responce is my point. It is the games decision to do it that way, and their decision isn't based on whether or not it is legal. Because as of right now, it is. In my opinion, it is a poor decision. Some players play fictional, some historical, but many of their customer base enjoy current rosters. I also believe that the decision is made easier for them, because they know someone else will do it anyway. In all honesty though, I suspect (yes, baselessly) it was a financial, man hours decision .. and not a legal one. * Note. I don't think it was a make - or - break "poor decision", just one that could've enhanced their game to some of their customers. Last edited by DougWyatt; 04-05-2007 at 08:36 PM. |
