I'm waiting it too. Great HBO fight night in Puerto Rico!!! The Allan Green's name position first - before than name Miranda on boxrec.com, it mean what Allan stay a favorite in this fight(it will be a

)! After that fight, will be a Main Event of M.Cotto fight against O.Urkal(it will be a closed fight). Also in that night we will see our russian guy Zaur Baysangurov - vs Jose Varela(Varela has loss to E.Miranda by UD,has loss to M.A.Rubio by KO,but Zaur has won over Rubio by UD) -and.... "Since you are so concerned about children, lets make a bet: The loser of this fight will donate $150,000 to the childrens charity of the winners choice" said Green..

Miranda has reportedly made statements that he is upset with Green and wants to punish him for his public comments. When asked what he thinks about Miranda's supposed anger at his comments Green said: "Nothing much, like I said, they keep selling bull**** to people and bull**** is only good for one thing, making flowers..All this talk will lead to him getting destroyed. I am through talking. Hey Edison Miranda tell your people to quit talking for you, and be a man. I will see you in the boxing ring where Leon (Miranda's promoter) won't be there to write your press releases." ....

Sounds like good stuff Zima!

Just read a book recently called "Vodka" - it was about the Russian mob & talked a lot about vodka too. The author wrote that you can always tell who the mob guys are in Moscow, they drive the American cars.

Arthur Abraham pissed Miranda off too. Has Abraham quit eating his meals through a straw yet? Oh yeah of course Abraham won that fight thanks to 5 points deducted for BS reasons. But this will be Miranda's second fight since then and Abraham still can't talk right.

Good move by Green making Miranda angry.

I have read that Abraham might not be able to fight again due to the damage suffered at the hands of Miranda that were caused by punches and not headbutts and low blows like the German press would like you to believe. A rematch between these two seems unlikely and if AA ever heals sufficiently to fight, he would not want no part of Miranda ever again.

I wonder if part of the reason Green is feeling cocky is because he thinks Miranda's a power puncher @ 160 but can't hurt him because he's a SMW?

I can't find odds on this fight anywhere. As a matter of fact the only fight Saturday I can find odds on is the Cotto fight. I looked on 4 different betting sites ... too bad I wanted to bet on Miranda. Esp. since the odds might be good considering he is stepping up to SMW and Green has a lot of fan boys.

I think it can be safely said that Edison Miranda is a bad dude, and that Allen Green is in serious trouble. Have you guys seen the poll on fightnews.com? Nothing scientific, but 74% have picked Miranda by KO.

Green is nowhere near the caliber of Arthur Abraham, and we all saw what happened to the current IBF champion. And, while I certainly respect the opinion of certain Allen Green fans, March 3 is not going to be a good night for them IMO.

The only advantage Green might have is the fact that it's at 168 but I don't see that as a problem. Like I said I've been wrong before and often, but I can't see any other end to this fight than Green KO'd.

Hm! Allan Green in his pre-prime, he on the stage of Abraham skills and caliber now, not far. Abraham is a real man! Because he fought 8 round with pain of broken jaw vs agressive hard puncher and won on points. If Arthur didn't has his mistake of opened mouth in 4 round, he would be won by some of latters rounds KO. It was a big Abraham's mistake in big fight. Abraham said, that he very want their rematch 2 and has promised to knocking out Miranda. Allan have a good warm smile, nice intellect, aggression, power and heart to win.

I respect your opinion, but I don't think that Arthur Abraham wants any part of Edison Miranda again. He escaped the first fight with a broken jaw and somewhat controversial decision. Think he'll probably take something easier, if it's available.

And yes, Allen Green is a nice guy and good fighter. However, he is not as good as Abraham yet, and I sincerely hope he doesn't get seriously hurt when he fights Edison on Saturday. Miranda hits VERY HARD, and I don't think Green can stand up to his power.

Just watched Allan Green get his world rocked in the 3rd round vs Donnie McCrary on youtube. Yes, Green did come back and stop him in the 6th, but the fact that he could be floored by a guy whose HP I would rate no higher than a "5" at middleweight, says something for his chin (or lack of.)

Edison's HP is probably around "11" at MW. Bad things are going to happen when he starts connecting against Allan. Ask perennial contender Howard Eastman and world champion Arthur Abraham how hard this guy hits. Green is in trouble, simple as that.

Thanks! I respect your words too. I think about, that happen if Allan will shoot his clean dangerous hooks on Miranda's chin... and Miranda get more problems and maybe ko by that. It possible too.

I'll be the first to admit it if I'm wrong. Anything can happen in a boxing ring, but I believe the odds are stacked in our favor on this one. Guess we'll find out Saturday. BTW, I was up in your neck of the woods the other day. Louisville is a beautiful place!
