Ha! We're definitely calling this guy "Tinkles" if he ever makes it to the bigs.
Plus we're sponsoring his BBRef page. |

So I was flipping channels today and I came across a minor league baseball game between the Kane County Cougars and the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. Who was on the mound for KC? Our boy, Tinkles!!! I made sure to watch the rest of the way. He got knocked around for a few runs, but nice K numbers.
Looks like he's got a 4.09 ERA so far on the year but a K/9 of 13.26! I also found this on the KC Cougars website: ![]() |

ANDREW BAILEY CALLED UP TO AAA!!!!
He's starting tonight! Overall, he has struck out 146 batters over 117.0 innings and posted a 3.46 ERA in 22 appearances, 21 starts, between Kane County and Stockton in his first full professional season.

**** UPDATE **** UPDATE **** UPDATE ****
Ladies and gentlemen, in his first AAA start Andrew Bailey took a no-hitter into the seventh inning and ended up throwing 8 innings of 1-run ball, allowing 3 hits, striking out 4, and walking 1. WTGABKUTGW!

Is it really our Tinkles? Wow. Hope he gets to the Majors soon or have a fruitful career as a pitcher.

Not the real Tinkles, but Little Tinkles, or Tinkles II, or Other Tinkles, whatever you want to call him.

He only gave up so few hits because all the good players on the other team were called up when rosters expanded.

[Joe Morgan]Not much of a prospect. The near no-hitter was only his fifth win of the 2007 season.[/Joe Morgan]

ANDREW BAILEY HAS A BASEBALL REFERENCE PAGE!
I love BBRef even more now for having minor leagues. Can't sponsor it yet though.

BP has Andrew Bailey as the 5th best prospect in the A's organization.
Though, he's a three-star, and the A's only have one five (Barton) and one four (Cahill). http://www.baseballprospectus.com/ar...articleid=6985 |

Cool.
G&G. We'll have to catch a game together at FV Stadium. See the Rattlers play against the A's squad. |
