At some point, would it be reasonable to track stats for the managers?

The Orlando Sugar Kings July schedule is missing. Not that games aren't scheduled, the grid is not even present.

Catcher with no catcher fielding ratings (but does have for two other positions)
http://reports.ootpbaseball2006.com/...ayer_8872.html Why have position listed as DH when player seems to be okay in the field: http://reports.ootpbaseball2006.com/...ayer_2913.html http://reports.ootpbaseball2006.com/...ayer_8020.html and many others. For someone to have DH listed as their main position it seems that they should have very low ratings for only OF and/or 1B. Here's a player who is listed as DH but seems okay at 3B and SS! http://reports.ootpbaseball2006.com/...ayer_8860.html But, in any case, it seems that if someone is considered a DH he must have been tried at 1B or OF first before being made into DH. Not only that, but in September they have way too many days off. Three off days to start the month, play for five days, then six days off, then play for 12 days. (Also, they appear to have 12 straight games with Lexington in September? )

Also, I'm very pleased to see that the defensive ratings are out of 20 now, and that the ratings for pitching coaches at teaching pitching are higher than teaching hitting, etc.
![]() However, the coach's ratings are still out of 200 it seems. It's not a huge deal if they're out of 200, it's just odd that coach's ratings are out of 200 and everything else is out of 20. I'm not sure if it's a mistake or if it's meant to be that way. Oh, and also, on the personnel page, would it be possible to display which of the scouts is the head scout? They all just say "Scout" currently. Again, not a big deal, but I think it should probably distinguish that.

Minor point re nationality: a Latin American can be called an "American." I would prefer having "USA" given as nationality for players from USA rather than "American."

The Batting PA needed to appear on the career leaderboard and IP needed to appear on the leaderboard are still 1,380 and 445 respectively. That's less than 3 full seasons worth of ABs to be an all-time batting leader and 2-2 and a half seasons of starting pitching, or 6 seasons or so of relief. I still feel that those are extremely low thresholds for career leaders. (For instance, the current BA leader has played 2 and a half seasons. To be considered the career leader in MLB, at least according to baseball-reference, he'd need 3,000 AB. As for the All-time ERA leaders, 5 of the top 10 are Closers and/or middle relievers. To be on the lists at baseball-reference you need 1,000 IP, which is more than double this threshold.)
On a positive note, this is an extremely interesting league. There are some super-studs in it, like Mark Hamlyn and his 1.71 career ERA, .80 WHIP, 226 Ws (vs. 55 losses) and almost 13:1 K/BB ratio and Jade Pena, who put up a Barry Bonds-like .366/.430/.783/1.214 line in 2015 with 68 HR and almost 200 RBI. It is a bit odd that the Fresno Cannon's, Hamlyn's team, traded him after signing him up long term, though. I doubt they'd let a guy like him go in real life when they're contenders. They got a great hitting 1B back, but I doubt they'd give away Hamlyn, two other players, and cash, basically for a heavy hitting 1B. The more I look at it, there are still some odd contracts being given out. Jade Pena was given a 4 year, 96 million dollar deal. He's a super-stud, as I said earlier, but he was coming off of a 7 month injury when he was given that deal. Seems like a very risky investment. Farruco Perez, his teammate, got 90 million for 4 years, and he's not nearly as good. He's a good player, sure, and he used to be very good, but the few years before he got that deal were nothing to write home about. He's doing okay, but 22 million worth? I don't think so. http://reports.ootpbaseball2006.com/...layer_331.html Another one: Five years, 81 million for a slightly above average middle reliever, signed coming off of a 27 save, 3.08 ERA season with less Ks than IP and only five less hits than IP (1.45 WHIP). Hardly dominating. Even guys like Mariano Rivera, who are completely dominating, don't get anywhere near that type of money for closing.: http://reports.ootpbaseball2006.com/...layer_690.html One final example: http://reports.ootpbaseball2006.com/...layer_272.html How does that guy get his team to give him a 5 year, 100 million dollar extension? Career Mess?
I may be missing something, but are all batting/pitching Career stats for both Major and Minor leagues listed together? I believe thats what I'm seeing in the reports, thusfar. Am I wrong about this?

Triples still spelled "tribles" on team history screens.

Still have highlighting errors in awards tables when the same player wins in consecutive years. Here's one example:
http://reports.ootpbaseball2006.com/...ers_104_1.html And the pitchers' game scores are still missing on the top performance report. http://reports.ootpbaseball2006.com/...formances.html

"He has driven in 27 runners, scored 43 times and strolled to first base free of charge on 73 occasions. Delallera has also pilfered 1 bases." What does it refer to when it says 'pilfered 1 bases'? Last edited by Qrusher14242; 05-26-2006 at 05:12 PM. |

If you look at the schedule grid you can really see how messed up the schedule is.
http://reports.ootpbaseball2006.com/...dule_grid.html So teams have not days off in April and May then have a week off in september. I hope this is a bug and not just how the schedules are going to work. |
