2033 MLB ALCS: LV vs PIT

Aces won the season series 4-2. If good pitching beats good offense then the Aces should win this series but i think Pittsburgh offense will be too much for the Aces rotation as a whole.

2033 MLB NLCS: ARI vs CIN

Arizona won the season series 4-2.

The best offense in the NL vs the best pitching. I just think the D'backs have too much offense overall for the Reds to handle over 7 games.

2033 IBL Lincoln-Douglas Series: LB vs GEN

Season series was tied at 5.
The best pitching in the LA vs the best pitching in the DA. Cougars have several rookies in their lineup and rotation. i think the experience of the Falcons will pay off for them.

ALDS Game 4. Series tied at 2.

Kimball surrendered 5 ER in 5 IP. Club, Novo & Field all did a great job. Simmons, after not being used for several games was wild and could not get anyone out and blew the save. Yoshida did all he could for 3.1 innings but eventually gave up a walk off HR. On to Game 5 at home. Fink vs Self.

ALDS Game 5. WB wins.

Fink was injured in the 3rd and Johnson pitched well for a time but after it was 4-0 the rest of the team gave up. There will be many changes next season.
Congrats to the Warriors. i hope to see Warriors vs Rockies in the Battle of Endor.

2033 EBL ALCS: WB vs AND

Season series tied at 3. The great pitching of Willowbrook vs the great offense of Anderson. It worked well in the 1st rd for each, who prevails this time?

2033 EBL NLCS: RT vs MET

Supermen won the season series 11-10. This should be a slobberknocker. Both teams score a ton, Metropolis has the slightly better rotation.

Not the final outcome I had anticipated. The plan from day 1 was a Battle of Endor appearance.I have some potential deals in mind that will land us a #1 SP for the next 3-5 seasons and possibly a #1A for the next 10 seasons. Several players will no be back next year will will free up about $20 million in payroll. i need to deal some players away that could save us an extra $10 million. That should give me around $25-30 million per to throw at a FA SP or to make a deal to bring in a SP or 2 that makes around $20-25 million per.

Projected OD roster as of now is

1b Mighty Joe Young
2b Kool Kat
3b Juan San Antonio
SS Anna Kournikova
LF Hal Welch
CF Brett Bremer
Rf Tigger Johnson
C George Cain / Rebecca Hoffman platoon
DH Bobby Harris / Rum Tum Tugger platoon

SP Fink
SP Hernandez
SP Lurte
SP Stupec
SP Medina

CL Simmons
SU Club
SU Evans
MR Field
LO Johnson
LO Novo

More on the rest if the team later on.

Overall i cant complain about our defense. Yes Anna had many E but she was a rookie and it was to be expected. If she is the everyday SS next year is up to her. She needs to cut her E in half. While Tigger may not be considered a great RF anymore, you still can not run on him. Cain didnt have a great TO % but not that many tested him even with 3 SP that did not hold batters that well.

Player Spotlight
CF Brett Bremer S/L #27
Brett had an off year and needs to rebound for us to have the success that we want to have. He has 2 years remaining on his contract and while his future beyond that is unclear he has a good shot at 3000 Hits and 600 + HR.

RP Earl Brown R/R #45
Earl is arbitration eligible and i am not sure if he will be back next season. He can be good or he can do what he did this season. he was solid in SEP/OCT.

C George Cain S/R #37
Cain will platoon with Hoffman next season and how much depends on him. He has 25 HR capability but has now struggled 2 seasons ina row and yes, while not many runners tested him, the ones that did were successful.

RF Dragisa Cavoski L/L #36
Drag's future is unclear with the Tigers. He will not make the OD roster as the team is constructed as of now and it is uncertain if he would be part of a trade. hansen is the future Rf at AAA but Cavoski can DH and play LF.

RP Buffalo Club L/L #57
Buff had a great season and will start next season where he ended this season. As the SU man. He will be a big part of this team for the foreseeable future.

2b Joe Cottoneye S/R #16
Joe had a great season playing 6 positions this season. He is under contract thru 2035 and will be a vital part of this team thru then. Mercedes Benz is a similar player but probably can not hit .326.

RP Neil Diamond R/R #2
Neil's future is also unclear. he could be part of a trade but most likely will be back at AAA, this time with the Middleton Tigers to start the year and would come in if any SP were injured.

RP Rooster Evans R/R #74
Rooster's projection for next season is for him to be a SU man along with Club.

RP Wrigley Field L/L #11
Wrigley is projected to be a left handed specialist again next season and improve on his rookie campaign.

SP Ken Fink L/L #93
Fink, while he won 18 games this year had a terrible K/BB ratio. More on him after the season.

DH Bobby Harris L/L #31
Bobby had a bad year. He is signed thru 2035 and if he does what he is capable of, he is a great hitter. He can no longer play 1b and could see his PT lessen next year. he was solid vs LHP but terrible vs RHP this season.

SP Adam Hernandez R/R #48
Adam signed a 1 yr deal thru 2034 so he will be in the rotation next season. I'm concerned about his durability.

C Rebecca Hoffman S/R #9
Rebecca will platoon with Cain next year and could become the everyday starter in 2035. She is capable of .290+ with 20 SB along with playing GG defense.

RP Fairweather Johnson R/R #19
FW is projected to be a long man out of the pen next year but could also close, setup or start next year.

RF Tigger Johnson L/L #21
Tigger might win the MVP this year. The plan is to sign him thru 2035 or 2036 by ST next year. He has stated that he does not plan on retiring in a Tiger uniform but would like to hit his 500th HR here. He should get that next year. his defense dropped off a bit this past season but still has a tremendous arm and should win the AL GG.

2b Kool Kat S/R #23
Kool is projected to be the OD 2b next season. Currently Todd Scott is up for arbitration at $7 million projection uo from his $480 K salary this season. Todd will either be traded or will be the 2034 OD 2b.

SP Robby Kimball R/R #56
Robby was not as good for us as i hoped he would be. He will not be back next season.

SS Anna Kournikova S/R #1
Anna will either finish 1st or 2nd in AL ROTY voting with Mighty Joe Young. While she is currently the OD SS for 2034, i could see her playing LF and DH next season as well depending on who is traded away. Tugger is better than her defensively and can hit well but moves need to be made for him to start next season.

1b Ming Li L/L #47
Ming will not make the OD roster next year and I have no plans on trading him currently. He will start at AAA and would come up if Bobby or Young are injured.

SP Bill Lurte L/L #33
Bill turned out to be a great trade for us. He won 16 games and finished great in the 2nd half. He is projected to be the #3 SP next year.

SP Jose Medina R/R #26
Jose did not have the season i had projected for him but was still good. He will either be the #4 or #5 SP next season.

LF Tim Milton R/R #3
Tim had a great season for us. His future is unclear. He is a decent bat and not terrible on D but since he is under contract for several years and doesn't make much, he could be a valuable trade piece. He could platoon with Welch & Harris again.

2b Charles Neeley R/R #13
I love Charles but he nor his wife Samantha will be playing for us next season. When he and Sam retire i have a spot for them as minor league manger and HC.

RP Bill Novo R/R #61
Bill was great in the pen with a 3.75 ERA in 69.2 IP 69 K. as a SP he was 5.28 in 30 IP 15 BB 10 K. I know he wants to be a SP but i see him more valuable to this team and a long man he can double as a SU. If there are injuries to the rotation next year, he will be given a shot in as a starter.

2b Jason O'Neill R/R #32
Jason unfortunately was not good for us once he came over from Anaheim. i also probably didnt use him as much as i should have. He will not be back next season.

RP Ricardo Ortiz R/R #7
Doubtful that Ortiz will start the season in the pen with us next year but i do see him playing a pivotal role in the pen next season and into the future.

LF Jose Ruiz R/R #12
Jose will not be on the OD roster next season but could see some time depending on injuries and performance.

Cf Gerald Russell S/R #5
The plan is for Russell to be the 4th or 5th OF next season depending on what happens with Todd Scott & Tim Milton.

3b Juan San Antonio R/R #18
Juan is not going anywhere for a long time. He had a solid season this year and hit really well early in the season and again in late SEP into OCT. unsure if he will win his 8th GG at 3b this season or not he had 12 E.

2b Todd Scott L/R #6
Todd is my nephew by marriage and is AGM Bruno Scott's son. I traded for him last year because I knew he could hit and obviously being from here i wanted him to be a part of what was supposed to be a magical season. With Kool Kat as a better offensive and defensive player and with the fact he is expected to receive $7 million is arbitration i plan on trading him. Depending on which SP i can get he may or may not be part of that deal. I will probably trade him for a prospect to a MLB contending team.

CL Willie Simmons R/R #92
Willie started the season as the SU man and struggled but ended the season as a top tier CL. He will be our CL at least until 2035 when Jackman could resume that role.

RP Robert Smith R/R #58
This is one trade i should not have made. Rob was great for KC and terrible for us. He is due $14.4 million in arbitration and will not be back with us at that price. i am not against bringing him back next year but it would have to be under $1 million.

C Scott Spear L/R #10
Scott was great for us overall. He was hitting .312 for us for a time and hit many key HR for us. i wish him to best with whichever team he signs with next season.

SP Bill Stupec R/R #28
Bill is projected to be our #4 or #5 SP next season. He is capable of going 15-10 3.50 180 IP 120 k 70 BB. He is a finesse groundball P.

SS Rum Tum Tugger R/R #4
Rum is blocked by Anna at SS and will probably start the season at AAA. Theres a chance he could learn LF and platoon at Lf and SS in the majors. He will be up full time, eventually. i see him as a .285 25 Hr 75 RBI guy with 30-40 doubles and some speed with solid to above average D.

LF Hal Welch L/L #8
Hal had a terrible season. He's signed thru 2036 so at worst he will be a 4th Of next year. A lot depends on what moves i make butI want to see him as the everday LF but for him to stay in that role he needs to hit .275 or better 10 + HR and 25 SB. He is a 5 time GG Lf.

RP Seiji Yoshida R/R #31
While Yosh did not do as well for us as he did for the Yankees as part of the Matulius trade. He did great laste in the year and was fantastic vs LHP down the strech. i am no opposed to bring him back but it would have to be in the $1-4 million dollar range.

1b Mighty Joe Young R/R #72
Mighty Joe will either win the AL ROTY or lose to Anna Kournikova. He is the future of our offense. i think he could hit 60 + HR next season. For 2034 he is the OD 1b, if Tigger does not sign a deal beyond 2034 then Young will most likely become teh 2035 OD RF. He is showing off our new 2034 alt home jersey.

CL Mike Jackman R/R #85
Normally i do not offer injured P arbitration but Mike is too good to give up on. He should be back by the all star break and could resume closer duties by 2035.

RP Comiskey Park R/R #20
Commie is also injured and should also be back around the all star break. He would most likely spend the majority of the remaining season at AAA.
