OK I know the playoffs are completely different then the regular season but Oakland was barely a challenge in the 1st 2 games. 7 SB in Game 1, 5 in Game 2. Parkman caught Doug Johnson in Game 2. Billingsley we decimated in Game 1. Nelson fared a bit better, but Simmons struggled with walks. Brett is on his way to be the 1st 30-30 White Sox player ever. Sterling Thomas wont be back til around July 1st, somehow I don't know how to add.

Garret is the oldest son of Bo Jackson, former White Sox, Angels & Royals OF.

Garret loves playing for the White Sox but he is not quite tje player his father was. While he does hit for a higher avg, he does not have the speed his father had. They both are very familiar with striking out. Bo's highest strike out season was 1989 at 172 K's. Garrets's highest is 198 in 2017. Both led the league. Garret is 30 HR's shy of his father's 141. They are both a 1 time All Star. Garret's best friend is fellow Sox player and son of a former Sox player, Sterling Thomas. Most call Garret Pops since he is a veteran and among the older players on the team that have played their entire career with the Sox. Despite not going to college out of HS, Garret has his Masters from St Mary's in Minnesota. Garret recently signed a 3 yr extension worth 15.3 million that will keep him in a Sox uniform for a few more years.

Astros will be without Chris Sale for 2 months. Will they hold off Arizona while he is gone?

Atlanta Muscle SP Tom Petson wins the EBL NL Pitcher of the Month Award. 16-0 great season so far as Atlanta is on cruise control in the NL East.

Had back to back losses to Oakland & Seattle, other then that we have been playing pretty well. Sterling Thomas is back from his 50 game suspension. I still think is was a fluke thing but only time will tell.
July looks to be a fun month. We have the All Star game coming up and should have 5-7 All Stars. Some divisional games, a few vs the AL East and then some more interleague. Looking forward to beating the Cubs in Wrigley Field.

Only close race in the American League is in the West with Oakland, Seattle & Texas. National League has a decent race in the NL North and a good race with LA & San Fran in the NL West.

CBF wildcard races are always close even at the half way point in the season. George Springer is having a good season as is Travis Dobson of Hope Jedi.

Races seem to be over on the EBL.

How Acq: Drafted by White Sox 1st rd 2014 Amateur Draft.
Laurence is one of 3 Steve on the starting staff and 4 overall on the Sox. He rose quickly through the Sox system but this is his 1st season as a SP. He is a crafty lefty. His all time favorite player is Cliff Lee. He says he also learned a lot by watching Chris Sale before Sale went to the Astros.

How Acq: Drafted in the 1st round of the 2005 Amateur Draft.
Chuckles is he is called by many is the lead singer of the Camero's and leader of the Marlins. He has played his entire career for the Marlins. He was drafted out of University of Miami and played both 3B & QB for the Hurricanes. He was the starting QB for the Miami Dolphins from 2005 through 2016 when he was injured and broke his leg. He has since retired from the NFL. Lifetime .302 hitter, 3 time All Star. He won a Batting Title in 2007. Chuck grew up in Miami and other then touring with the Camero's or playing MLB & NFL hardly leaves. His all time favorite player is Jeff Conine. Some notable hits Chuck has had as lead singer with the Camero's are: Kokomo #2 Hot 100, God Only Knows #6, Hotel California #1, Papa Ohh Mow Mow #9, I Live For The Sun #12 & Good Vibrations #1. He had a 3 tear solo career while many of the Camero's played in the EBL. During that time he had 5 #1's with Piano Man, Scenes From An Italian Restaurant, Everybody Has a Dream, Streets of Philadelphia & Good To Be Me feat Eddie Skylar.
Chuck lives in Miami with his wife of 14 years former model/actress Kasia Smutniak . They have a son Charles Jr and a daughter, Dawn. He says he wants to eventually own a MLB team.

Mike Trout wins the EBL AL POTW award. He is playing much better now that he is healthy.
Lee Brow is done for the season for the Chevy Larks.
Atlantis picks up a good bat with the signing of Kaleva Nichol. aLthough Nichol can play CF & RF The Sharks have 4 LF with Kevin Kucera & Lewis Webber also has main LF.

3 games @ Boston. Boston has an underachieving pitching staff. Their offense isn't as strong as it once was either. Bogaerts is their best offensive player but Jackie Bradley Jr is solid also. They do also have good team speed.

Minotaurs traded for John Lannan.
Senators will be without their good CL Brothers for awhile.
Mets get Yan from division rival Blue Jays.

3 games @ KC. Royals were good for few years but lately are back to their old way of being bad. They are led by 2 former players of mine 1B Max House & C Bob Bliss. Loup seems to be a good closer.

Alejandro De Aza was traded to the Minotaurs. Looks like an even trade on both sides.

Wilbur Duggleby hit his 400th MLB HR. He has 486 HR between MLB & EBL.

Sharks SP Julio Granger gets his 250th Win. He says he has no plans of retiring til he gets to 300.
Parrots rookie CF Cab Cabrera is done for the season.
