Because it wasn't "classless".

You make a positively ludicrous assertion about "all players," essentially cheating, but when called on it you have absolutely no examples or evidence that support your point.
I need to see the games you watch, in which no player ever breaks the rules.

My point is that all he did was try to get away with one. It happens all the time. It was not classless. Was it really that hard to understand?

Well it is being a baby if you look at it from the fact that he couldn't get a hit so he tried to cheat his way on. When a baby or young kid cant win at something they cheat to win. So Arod = Baby, Its things like this that make me not miss Arod in Seattle anymore

In addition, the fans are confirming everything bad people say about New York.

No matter what happens, the Yankees are the real losers this series.
So the actions of one man should describe the character of an entire franchise?

And the actions of a couple fans should describe the character of an etire fan base?

Now, if you said he was a big baby for trying to argue that he didn't do anything wrong, that would be a different story. However, his initial actions had more to do with trying to avoid a tag than trying to have everything his way.
Avoid a tag? roffle. More like take Arroyo's arm off. It reminded me of the scene in The Last Boy Scout where the running back pulls a gun out of his uniform and shoots the defensive player so he can ensure that he scores a touchdown. Nevertheless, a classless play that does a great job of illustrating why I hate A-Rod and the Yankees.

I just thought it was a dumb move. Hurt the team because Jeter would have been in scoring postion. Whether it was classless or not I care not.

I reported this post because it contains a personal attack on A-Rod's character. Thx.

While I don't agree with this, I honestly can't argue it.

What did I just say a couple of pages ago!? Told you so. (I was going to reference the Last Boy Scout, but thought it would be over the top. I guess it wasn't.)

That too. But if MLB was at all consistent on in-game cheating, ARod would have his sorry ass parked in the clubhouse for the Yanks' next game or ten.

See, you're not shouting Yankees Suck, so any post you make must in total defense of the Yankees. At least, that seems to be the case.

I'd say calling that SOC play "trying to avoid a tag" is pretty damn close to defending him. That's just, like, my opinion man.

That's unfortunate. I truly did believe we had some mature individuals on this board.

Anyway, I'm still waiting till someone shows me when I defended ARod's actions as ok.

Yeah, you have a point. If Tavarez gets suspended because he may or may not have had pine tire on his cap, why not for this?

As far as the actions of a few defining all Yankee fans, when the Yankees are winning championships you all think your winners so when something like this happens you all take the blame as well
