New Hampshire explodes for a 9 run 7th and wins their first game of the series. Better yet it's New Yorks first loss in 8 post season games.

Alaska holds on as Staten Island again plays them to the final out. A 3-1 series could very easily have been 4 Yankee wins with a break or two. Stan Hall wins another post season game.

Vegas explodes to knot their series with the Colts as Seb Adams has a day.

LA is a game away from a pretty big upset. Houston is/was a powerhouse and they were certainly expecting to get to an LCS

Andy Morgan has done something no IBL pitcher has ever done.



That's 4 consecutive post season starts without allowing an earned run. 4 GS 34 IP 12 H 0 ER 3 BB 39 K's to win his second series MVP award in leading LA to a huge upset of Houston.

Walt Peeler's 9th inning tie breaking home run wins the series for the Knights, who head to Alaska 8-1 in the post season.

David Rodgers 1st post season start this year was a dominating gem, coming within an out of a SHO. Cisco Casas saved all 4 games.

In Baltimore, Sergio Rocha hit Raul Miranda with the bases loaded and 1 out, to force in Victor Wells with the walk off run and give the Colts a 3-2 series lead.

Raul Miranda's 2 out 3 run homer in the 8th turned a 2-0 deficit into a 4-2 Baltimore win, and the end of the series. Miranda took home series MVP honors.

This one feels like the ultimate reverse lock. Alaska swept the season series, 6-0, beating up on former teammate John Drake and Knight ace Jesus Romano while stymieing the Knight Offense.





Pretty even series here, but LA has to find a way to contain Mike Francis, who just murdered them this year.

Two amazing games to kick off the LCS. In Alaska John Drake outpitches Stan Hall and New York gets to the 9th up 5-2. Ricciardo Vasario leads off the inning with a home run, and 4 batters later, with 2 outs, Lowell Cook hits a game tying 2 run homer!
In the 11th Cook hits a 2 out double, after an intentional walk to Bond, PH Paco Martinez hits a game winning walk off double to give Alaska a HUGE come from behind win in game 1.



In Baltimore the Colts rally late to tie it but LA gets 2 in the 10th to take game 1 on the road.

Andy Morgan is human! Sort of. He gives up his 1st runs of the post season, in his 5th start, but he's still good enough to get LA up 2-0 heading home.

Mike Bowman is solid in getting Alaska a 2-0 lead heading across the country for a game 3.

New York snags one at home to get some stability. Erico Villoldo leads the Knight ofense.

The Colts Tom Warner clutches up and after a 9th inning scare the Colts get on the board.

Pitching is the name of the game today. 3 outstanding starts.





Hall continues to establish records in the post season, this was his 37th career win and 5th career shutout.

Alaska puts away New York, series MVP Lowell Cook homers 2 more times.

LA crushes the Colts to grab a 3-2 series lead as they head back to Baltimore.

The Colts do the impossible, pound Andy Morgan, to force a game 7. Berino, Francis and Jackson homer to get the series to a win or go home game!

Series MVP Tom Warner (despite not winning a game) tosses 7 dominating innings and Victor Wells singles home Tim Stevenson in the bottom of the 12th to send the home town into a series winning frenzy. It was Wells only RBI of the series.

Alaska just crushes the Colts in game 1, starting with Cook's 2nd inning grand slam. Hall wins another post season game.

Alaska wins the blowouts and they win the close ones.

Mike Francis breathes some life into the Colts with a 2 run 1st inning homer. Bob Brady answers with his own 2 run shot in the 2nd and Lowell Cook again comes up with a huge HR as RJ throws 8 strong innings and Cisco Casas records his 7th post season save this year, and 28th career, putting him 16 behind Ernesto Cruz all time.

DAYTON-GM Tom Vantassell was given the heave-ho.
ARIZONA-GM Tony Clark was fired.
CORPUS CHRISTI-MGR Tony McDonald was fired.

SAN ANTONIO'S SNOW RETIRES
61 year old Melvin Snow has decided to hang'em up. “I'm ready to fish, I don't have the energy or patience to rebuild a franchise, and this here job is going to take both. Mr Schilling gave me the opportunity to remain in the organization but I just felt it was time to head home, and do some fishin'.”

Word is that 45 year old bench coach Dean Strong (former Yankee great) and 43 year old AAA manager Eric Hudson are the early favorites. In the past few months the Stars new GM has wasted no time hiring former standout players for key positions in the organization, and he's apparently not done yet. Former all-star Kevin Moore is the hitting coach in AAA, Pitcher Artie Johnson has been hired to handle the IBL's pitching duties in San Antonio. Former Bulldog great and all-star MVP Ross Tunstall accepted the hitting coach job at Single A Plano. Future IBL manager Pedro Sanchez, has star written all over him. The 51 year old came out of the Mexican league to manage the Class A Plano team.
Former Iron Pig catcher George Knox has taken the managers position for Rookie League Columbus through the 2034 season.

All of that and there are a ton of positions to be filled inside the Silver Stars organization. The Managers position, and hitting coach, in San Antonio, Pitching and hitting coach for (A) Allentown, Pitching coach at (SS) St Louis, Pitching and Hitting Coach for ® Columbus and St Charles ® . Offers have been extended on most of these jobs.

Veteran IBL slugger takes over the hitting post in San Antonio.
45 year old All Star Kevin Moore has been promoted from the hitting coach duties in AAA Wilmington, to that same position for the last place San Antonio Silver Stars. Moore is a 3 time all-star and 3 time Gold Glove winner at 1B, a career .307/.390/.450 hitter with 191 HR's and 350 SB's over his 12 year playing career.
