Southworth! I know that guy! He was coach of the 46 Braves and now 47 Cubs in my game.

When playing through these past seasons it always fascinates me to see the players of the 20s turn into the managers of the 40s, 40s to 60s, 60s to 80s and so forth.

Well if he can teach hitting there as well as he does it in this world he's a damn good coach!

Another deal for an OF

As we were facing the Yankees in our most recent 4 game series we noticed one glaring weakness. Now we did sweep that series, but during that process I kept running into one constant issue with my bench. Every time I need a Right handed Hitter for pimch hitting all I saw down the bench was Left Handed Batters. We only had 1 player who was a natural Of who hit right handed.

So today we addressed this issue by trading highly touted Catching Prospect LHB Glenn Myatt for Pirates Backup OF Lee King. King is a very good LF and RF who I wouldn't be scared to put in CF. He hit .278 last year in 126AB and is above average in all running departments.

While we didn't want to deal Myatt, he would see limited time and every time we found a player we wanted his name popped up on the list from the other team, so instead of taking an RHB OF just because we needed one and taking who we could get, we thought it best to go ahead and deal Myatt and get the one we wanted.
