Trained Jose Legra, Angel(Robinson) Garcia, Hugo Carrizo. Trained the first two after they left Cuba when Castro came to power.

Trained Kid Tunero, Luis Rodriguez, Sugar Ramos, Jose Legra, Julio Mederos, Ben Buker, Douglas Vaillant, Amado Mir. All in Cuba before Castro took over.

He became a 2nd to Angelo Dundee in Miami after leaving Cuba. Was conditioning trainer for Ali and worked corner with Dundee/Pacheco for multiple fights.

Later in his career he worked with Caron Gonzales and his stable.
