Did they changed something after last update or just me being dumb, but now I can't even add or remove friends on managers and rankings? No that column which was for add/remove friends.

That is sure strange! |

I just asked about it on Discord and someone said it is getting patched so that means the OOTPD must know about it.

It is also screwing up the team graphics again. Had to reset the Mundys logo and upload when I checked at lunch time. I just checked again a few minutes ago and had to do it all again. I hope it's not devolving into one of those cycles where it needs to done every time I check on the team. As far as the friends list goes, it's just that we are actively using a feature that's not a real priority for most players of the game. It has never been improved since its introduction into the game and always seems to pop up with a problem or two with each iteration of the game. It would be nice if they'd take a second look at it, but the several times over the years since it was introduced that I have brought it up on the forum, I have never had any of my questions or suggestions addressed at all, or even acknowledged by anyone connected with the game. I guess it will just be what it is now. Ah, well. Last edited by Stanley Kuppchaser; 04-23-2021 at 06:16 PM. |

I know you have heard this a 1000 times just as I have, in the past however, from my personal experience, you have a easier time getting the message out on Discord. It is not uncommon to see several OOTPD people on there, off and on, on a regular basis. It is also possible have your questions or concerns answered by people who are in the "know", just like what I had happen when inquiring about the friends list being missing. I held out on discord for a very long time however, I joined it about a month ago. Yes, I feel it could be organized alot better however, if you need a quick answer or need to bring something up the the "powers that be" it is the place to do it. It is like "instant messaging", not private messaging. |

......as for logo issues, I have been "lucky" in that so far, I only have to change my logo from generic to custom, on Monday mornings, and only once a week.

I really hate the Discord environment. Feels like a room with everyone shouting at once, and some people have little respect for others. Sometimes, it's just easier to go without than deal with it. I do wish, however, that someone "in the know" would take the time t explain why something so seemingly simple like remembering a logo, is so hard to fix.

I stayed away from it for so long as it is not easy to track down information unless you do a search on everything. Yes, I have heard of people being very rude however, so far as a whole, I have had a few good and respectful people help me with my questions. I still prefer the forum boards and always will. That logo issue has been going on since I believe PT19. That is why last year I go too tired of having to change it that I went with a generic game logo, and in doing that, I never had to change it! Just food for thought! Last edited by Bottom Of The Sixth; 04-23-2021 at 07:27 PM. |

I have tried various places, including the bug forum, which, one would think, is at least peeked at by those "powers that be." I have seen many other issues at least acknowledged, while questions or suggestions about the friends list have been ignored. I have come to the conclusion that not even acknowledging the question at all is an answer of a sort, and as much of one as I will get on the subject. |

The Mad Brewers have been sitting in or just out of a relegation spot all season in B200. Since the trend had been on the rise after a horrible April the team had been willing to stand pat but a 7-19 July put an end to that thought.
Even the tournament teams were in a dry spell but the new missions gave us a few packs and the scouts found a perfect Acuna. Not perfect for the Silly squad but good for enough PP to entice Pie Traynor to sign up and replace Hector Lopez. |

Speaking of B200 this looks like the current status as of this evening. We have spent most of the season tangling with a gaggle of BFF teams and on the rare occasion playing each other.

Paxville have been walking the .500 tightrope all week, desperate to avoid the 16 promotion spots, and another week of probably no OL in Silver.
Manager Tinkerman has been far too busy with his '2nd' job in the real world (urgh), but has still managed to rip a couple of hundred more pretty disappointing packs. The team are steadily trundling towards completing the live missions, but the tally of historical diamonds is now 4 for 41... or

Getting Somewhere in OL I222
The Nowhere Men crackled at a 9-3 clip in August to take over the lead heading into the final month. Cary was 5-4, and Waffletown 7-4 as the trio turn for home in the chase for the crown. All three have plenty of OL games left, so the race is far from decided.
Nowhere has seven at HelthWyzer, 3 each at home against Coney Island and HelthWyzer, and 4 at home versus Waffletown. Cary visits Cedar Rapids for four games and has a home-and-away series of three games each with Cleveland. The Syrups, have three home games against Coney Island and Helthwyzer, and three roadies at Hartford, besides the contests at Nowhere. There are still no OL teams in danger of relegation. |

What Was I Thinking?
Had 117 packs to open this morning and thought it might be fun to keep track of what I pulled, just to see if my perception of how it went was close to reality. It wasn't much fun, just rather tedious. I felt as it was going that I was doing just okay, that is, average, and it turned out I was right. It seemed I was doing better than expected on bronze pulls and that turned out to be the case.
I did get a ton of doubles - 564 or 80.3%. I started the pack-a-pull-ooza with a total of 1075 cards, which I don't think is especially large at this time in the game, so I was kind of disappointed to get so many doubles. Anyway, since I kept track, I might as well reveal the numbers, because it's not happening again. By the way, I divide my cards by OL usable and others. Bronze - 65 OL, 9.3%; 157 others, 22.4% Silver - 9 OL, 1.3%; 19 others, 2.7% Gold - 5 OL, 0.71%; 6 others - 0.85% Diamond - 2 OL, 0.28%; 3 others - 0.43% Perfect - none Actual vs. (Expected) pull rates Bronze - 31.6% (20%) Silver - 4% (5%) Gold - 1.6% (2%) Diamond - 0.71% (0.67%) Unique pulls - that is, those that will sell at a premium. 1 build-a-legend - Ryne Sandberg 1 Negro Leaguer - John Beckwith 2 future legends - 94 Luis Gill and 77 Jeremy Pena I am unlikely to sell the Beckwith or Sandberg. I'm pretty sure that quite a few of the OL bronze are doubles, a few of the silver, and at least one of the gold are as well. Haven't looked at the OL cards to see who might break into the lineup yet. I'm guessing there will a press conference with Ulysses Fairsmith and/or Luke Gofannon if that occurs. I'm glad I pulled some bronze OLs because I want to switch my tourney teams to all non-live and, in fact, did that with the bronze. However, I should have waited, as I hampered the team bit and the pack rewards were very much slower yesterday (I think only three). Last edited by Stanley Kuppchaser; 04-24-2021 at 09:04 AM. |

Coney Islands coffee and cards was a bust again this week. A couple of cards I can make a few pennies on and a lot of unsung cards.
Cruised the AH and nothing really interested me. The only card was a Rizzuto. Alvin Dark has been the offensive spark of the team but his defense has been offensive as well. Since my other team is a theme of the four NY teams the Scooter may become a member of the Gang. |

Annandale continues playing fairly well. Cracked a few packs yesterday but all I got was a low gold reliever who may or may not make it onto the roster.
