Major League Baseball Coaches

Not a request for images, but a request for information.

I'm trying to discern the roles played by the various A's coaches in 1982.
It seems clear from multiple sources that:
Pitching - Art Fowler
Bullpen - George Mitterwald

But - there are conflicts over 1st, 3rd, and hitting among these candidates: Charlie Metro, Jackie Moore and Clete Boyer. I've used Retrosheet, Baseball Cube and Newspapers.com, but can't come up with anything definitive.

Also, Lee Walls seems to have been used later in the year specifically with the outfielders. Any confirmation/contradiction on this point?

Charlie Metro -- The State Journal Register of Springfield, Illinois dated May 13, 1982 quoted Rickey Henderson as describing Charlie Metro as the A's outfield coach. After the 1982 season ended, Metro moved up to the A's front office. Because of this seniority, my hunch was that he was a bench coach during games.

Jackie Moore -- The Augusta (GA) Chronicle of August 28, 1982 quoted Rickey Henderson as follows: "When he (Doc Medich) walked me the first time, I had a lot of butterflies when I got to first base. (Coach) Jackie Moore called me aside and said, 'Let me see you smile.' " So it seems that Jackie Moore was the first base coach.

Clete Boyer -- The San Francisco Chronicle of May 28, 1982 discusses Henderson's getting thrown out trying to stretch a double into a triple and says that Clete Boyer is the third base coach.

Lee Walls -- Retrosheet.org indicates that Lee Walls was a first base coach for his limited time as an A's coach in 1982. I could not find any verification of his being an A's outfielder coach in 1982, other than during spring training.

The photo on the left is from the Philadelphia Inquirer of February 19, 1928. The one on the right show Hunter in a Phillies uniform and it's from the Inquirer of April 9, 1933. The Philly newspapers called him Fred Hunter.

The requested photo of Fizsimmons is attached. I don't remember the source from which I acquired it.

Retrosheet shows that Ray Mueller had a major league coaching record only with the Giants and the Cubs, but not with the Indians:

As noted above, Mueller and Murray were not officially recognized coaches. Mueller was a spring training coach/instructor and Murray was a batting practice pitcher, unofficially the first "official" bp pitcher in the league. I have attached photos of Mueller, from spring training 1968, and Murray ca. late-1960s, with Yankee stars Whitey Ford (l) and Mickey Mantle (r).
