I don't see any reason why Canada can't make it to South Africa.
After USA/Mexico there seems a big drop to Costa Rica, and then another drop to the next group of CONCACAF teams.
Definitely possible IMO.

Yeah, and we can't get him back because of the politics of it all, but we really need him, he really adds so much to a team because of his pace, directness and the fact that he turns up all the time making runs on either flank. He really stretches defences.

We do have some young up and coming players so maybe there's hope. Our U20 team beat BRAZIL a few weeks ago. It was the first time any Canadian team beat a Brazil team.

The FIFA U20 World Cup is in Canada next year and I hope to attend some matches here in Toronto at the stadium which isn't even built yet.
