I've got a few from high school who still torment me in my dreams. Perhaps this would be cathartic.
Okay, I finally got my internet back at home, so in celebration, I'm gonna add some enemies as mentioned a couple of months ago. I still have 15 to catch up to creed, but I won't go that far.

1) The biggest bully in my jr. high. He was left back twice and had the build and demeanor of a really dumb pitbull. I lived in fear of this kid.

Third generation player--Son of Hal Andrew; Grandson of Duckie Andrew. Great respect for the game--quiet leader in clubhouse. If he's a pitcher, he'd have quite the slider--big GB pitcher. If you make him a 2B, he'd have little power, but would always be on base, trying for second.

The following players were added for the 1961 season:

Sam Waxer
Melchior Cifuentes
Tommy Mickelsen
Santiago Salvaje

Next up are Ed "Hot Dog" Holt (jeheinz72), David Parkhurst (JFullmer), Brad "Yo-Yo" Yordy (spiffamous), "Bazooka Joe" Burley (THE GUT) and Gary "Caveman" Southworth (metsgeek) in 1962.

With our new rule, if any of these should come out of college instead of high school, let me know what age (19-23) they are when they debut and I'll push them back that # of years. Of course, they will come into the draft more developed at that point.

Okay, some of you may know that I'm a Jr. High Special Ed. Teacher.

I made the "mistake" of showing TWB to some of my students and explained that we create rookies to add to the league based on ancestors and friends.

Now they're begging me to get added as rookies

So, if it's okay, I'm gonna submit their names, but I'm not going to specify anything beyond names, birthdates, race, and origin. Positions and talent level are entirely up to you. No need to make them good at all.... 2-3 star prospects are fine. If they could debut in 1962, though, I'd appreciate it.

1) William Donohoe, 1/1/1939, White, Dedham, MA
2) Nick Lembo, 2/2/1939, White, Boston, MA
3) Shawn "Sully" Sullivan, 3/3/1939, White, Boston, MA
4) Fitzgerald "Fitzy" Bondurant, 4/4/1939, Black, Haiti
5) Mike Sapienza, 5/5/1939, Latino, Puerto Rico

I hope this is okay, Matt.

Not a problem. I'll make them late 1st to 2nd rounders. With expansion, we have a little more room anyway. Tell them I said hi & I hope they enjoy following their careers!

Totally cool, anything for the kids. It'd be cool if whomever drafted them relayed messages through Pete saying what their "plans" were for their player.

Thanks, man. I'm gonna tell them when they come in for academic support.

I may even work it into a math assignment....graphing their stats, etc..
