First baseman Paul Goldschmidt, third baseman Nolan Arenado, starting pitcher William Cuevas and relief pitcher Bryan Baker have been named to the National League roster for Tuesday's All-Star game.
Goldschmidt will start at first base for the NL. Arenado will be a reserve.
It will be the eighth All-Star game appearance for 36-year-old Goldschmidt and his second since joining the Cardinals prior to the 2020 season.
This year, Goldy is hitting .275 with 17 homers, 52 RBIs and 61 runs scored in 86 games.
For Arenado, it will be his seventh All-Star game and his second since being traded to St. Louis before the start of the 2021 season.
Arenado, 33, is hitting .274 this season with 15 homers, 66 RBIs and 56 runs scored in 87 games.
It is the second straight All-Star appearance for the 33-year-old Cuevas, who made the AL squad a year ago while a member of the New York Yankees.
This season, after signing with St. Louis as a free agent, Cuevas has gone 7-7 with a 3.31 ERA for the Cardinals.
Baker, a 29-year-old right-hander, is going to his first All-Star game.
He has pitched in 51 games this season, going 3-0 with a 2.73 ERA.

Dean Curley will be the St. Louis Cardinals lone representative in this year's Prospects Game.
The 25th-overall pick in the 2023 draft, Curley is a 20-year-old shortstop currently playing for Palm Beach in the Florida State League (Low-A).
He has played in 12 games, hitting .214 with two homers and five RBIs.
Previously, Curley had been stationed with the Cardinals' Rookie League team in the Florida State League.
There, he played in 30 games and hit .226 with seven homers and 25 RBIs.
