Shasta High School Wolves
Representing Redding California, the Wolves have produced15 players to go on to the next levels of baseball, with 5 playing professionally. Big League talent is hard to come by in this expanse of California, as no player from this program has reached the Majors, but Shasta has produced 2011 3rd round pick and Vanderbilt alumni Aaron Westlake along with 1977 2nd round pick Guy Jones.

Red Bluff High School Spartans
Now to round out the northern Northern California area, I have included the Red Bluff team out of Red Bluff California. The Spartans have produced 3 professional careers, with a sole MLB rep by the name of Jim Davis who pitched in the Majors from 1954-1957.

Vallejo High School Redhawks
Out of Vallejo California, formerly known as the Apaches, they conformed to PC culture pressure and changed their nickname to what has come to be the most generic of all names used in place of a Native or Tribal themed nickname, the "Red Hawk". A few noted MLB players have come from this program, including Joe Thurston, Damon Hollins and C.C. Sabathia.

Out of Elk Grove, California. Notable achievements for this California prep powerhouse include posting national ranks of #9 in 1997 and #50 in 2010. 75 players have gone on to the higher levels of baseball from this program, including 36 professionally and 12 to play in MLB. Noted MLB players from this school include current Astro J.D. Davis, Reds reliever David Hernandez, and 17 year career catcher from the 70's and 80's Buck Martinez.

Out of Stockton, California. The Rams have been a very successful California prep program, churning out 58 players for the next levels of baseball, 26 having professional careers, and 7 playing Major League Baseball. St. Mary's also finished ranked 40th nationally in 2010 with a 26-7 record. Noted names Jason Bartlett and Von Hayes played for this school.
