Out of Chico California. 9 pro players have come out of this program, including 4 Major Leaguers. Clay Dalrymple and Nelson Briles played here.

Out of Palo Cedro California. Foothill has produced 23 players to play in the next levels of baseball, with 5 playing professionally. Current Devil Rays farmhand Dalton Kelly is an alumni.

Out of Chico California. Pleasant Valley has had 7 professional players come from its program, with Evan MacLane and Pat Clements being players to reach the Majors. A true to life like set:

Representing Redding California, the Wolves have produced15 players to go on to the next levels of baseball, with 5 playing professionally. Big League talent is hard to come by in this expanse of California, as no player from this program has reached the Majors, but Shasta has produced 2011 3rd round pick and Vanderbilt alumni Aaron Westlake along with 1977 2nd round pick Guy Jones.

Now to round out the northern Northern California area, I have included the Red Bluff team out of Red Bluff California. The Spartans have produced 3 professional careers, with a sole MLB rep by the name of Jim Davis who pitched in the Majors from 1954-1957.

Out of Vallejo California, formerly known as the Apaches, they conformed to PC culture pressure and changed their nickname to what has come to be the most generic of all names used in place of a Native or Tribal themed nickname, the "Red Hawk". A few noted MLB players have come from this program, including Joe Thurston, Damon Hollins and C.C. Sabathia.

Out of Merced California. 18 players from Merced have gone onto have professional careers, including 8 in Major League Baseball. Notable MLB players Jerry Garvin and Brian Fuentes attended this high school.

Out of Elk Grove, California. Notable achievements for this California prep powerhouse include posting national ranks of #9 in 1997 and #50 in 2010. 75 players have gone on to the higher levels of baseball from this program, including 36 professionally and 12 to play in MLB. Noted MLB players from this school include current Astro J.D. Davis, Reds reliever David Hernandez, and 17 year career catcher from the 70's and 80's Buck Martinez.

Out of Modesto California, Beyer has produced 12 professional ballplayers with one reaching the Majors, pitcher Eric Bell who started 29 games for the Orioles in 1987.

Jesuit finished ranked 31st nationally in 2001 with a 30-4 record. 77 players have gone onto the next levels of baseball from this school, 28 of them playing professionally and 6 reaching MLB. Andrew Susac, Rhys Hoskins, and J.P. Howell are alumni from this school to have played in the Big Leagues.

Out of Turlock California. 17 players from Turlock High have gone on to play professionally, with 5 having Major League Careers. Current Pittsburgh Pirate Kevin Kramer played here, as well as 70s Cleveland Indians shortstop Frank Duffy.

Out of Sacramento California. The Pacers have produced 18 professional players with 6 playing MLB. Three of those ML'ers have been 1st round draft picks, Leron Lee, Taylor Duncan, and Ricky Jordan.

The Rams have been a very successful California prep program, churning out 58 players for the next levels of baseball, 26 having professional careers, and 7 playing Major League Baseball. St. Mary's also finished ranked 40th nationally in 2010 with a 26-7 record. Noted names Jason Bartlett and Von Hayes played for this school.
