Holy ****, Loaiza sucks. I'd rather have Ken Macha pitching.

Is it me or are we paying a guy $3 million to throw BP?

And really, there's no one you can throw out there any time soon (assuming Halsey is pitching on Monday). He's going to have to eat 5 or 6 innings.

I think this is the first time I've actually wanted it to rain more.

Wouldn't surprise me. The reason the White Sox traded him in 2004 is because he just stopped caring. He wasn't throwing hard for no reason other than he wasn't putting the effort into his pitches. He had secured a nice contract and just stopped. After a decent year in Washington where he actually had to work to get paid, he got a nice deal and once again he's stopped giving a ****.

This has to be Beane's worst signing ever.

I'm going to assume KC is going to score at least 2 more runs, so the game is lost anyways, because there is no team on EARTH the A's can score 7 runs against.

Who was it in the 90s for the A's who pitched so poorly but was left in to give up 11 runs? That's what they should do to Looseraiza, because there is no point in burning through the bullpen for a losing cause.

For the record...

Esteban Loaiza is absolutely horrible and my brother (high school freshman) throws harder than him.

Why not leave Loaiza in to finish this game? Sure, he might give up 30 runs and throw 250 pitches, but worst-case scenario is he blows his arm out and we never see him again. What's he gonna do? Refuse to pitch? Well, that's breach of contract. Even better!

Macha shouldn't even think about removing Loaiza unless the A's tie the game.

That's an absolutely brilliant idea, now that I think about it.

Yup, leave him in there to get creamed. He deserves the embarassment. He deserves worse.

And whoever signed this putz to a contract deserves some sort of punishment too.

I was hoping for a Career Ending Injury.

So Macha pulled him like an idiot. Someone make my day and tell me it's because Loaiza's arm broke off and they had to make the switch.

Maybe it's just my TV, but it has been pouring rain the whole game.

If my TV isn't screwed up, why are they even out there playing? Back in the old days, they use to have things called Rain Delays.
