One hell of a game, one that I feel privileged to have watched.

Gibson swings, and a fly ball to deep right field! This is gonna be a home run! Unbelievable! A home run for Gibson! And the Dodgers have won the game, 5 to 4; I don't believe what I just saw! I don't believe what I just saw!

Between Young, Leinart, and Bush ... the NFL Draft is going to be very interesting. As a Raiders fan ... I say draft Vince Young.

Oh, and now apparently Vince Young is ESPN's new god. Be afraid, Longhorn fans, be very afraid.

Also, this and OSU/Miami are now the 2 best games I've ever seen in college football. I almost had myself a heart attack tonight, and I wasn't rooting for either team at first.

I haven't seen a QB dominate one game like this in my lifetime. Matt Leinhart and Reggie Bush combined didn't make as many big plays as one Vince Young. Is he the best college QB ever? Well, I don't know. But he took a team to a national championship with a running back and some wide receivers that most people in the country have never heard of. He's certainly in the argument.

Bush is still 1 and Young just solidified himself, in my mind, as 2B right along with Leinart. But don't put too much stock in one game -- even if it is the biggest game of all. They'll be a lot more going into the decision than that.

I would, too, as I think they need a big play rusher/returner more than a QB. But they will probably take VY since he's the U of Texas star.

yes, but Bush is the outside runner, he doesnt like to go up the middle between the tackles...hes more likely to break it outside and get pushed out of bounds. LenDale can get more yards up the middle without the risk of being pushed outta bounds.

I personally think VY would make a better shortstop.

By the way, nice way of Vince to dodge the question about whether he'd be back or not.

Interesting that he is in basically the same exact situation that Leinart was in last year. This will be a very interesting decision about whether he turns pro or not. I bet he does. I don't know if his stock could possibly go any higher.

Wow what a game, I cant recall a game thats been this hype be this good. Grats to the Longhorns. Vince Young showed me some things too, if he comes out in the draft I think the Texans have to think about him, but I would still take Reggie Bush. Im just pumped that the game was great, Im not a fan of either team but that was a classic.

Well yes, but Jr. QB on the national champions, top 3 pick in the draft, etc.... you know what I mean.

He'd have to win the Heisman and a National title next year. I really don't think a Heisman by it's self can top leading his team to a national title in the way he did.

The best thing would be to go out on top and, like was said earlier in this thread, run the risk of ending up in a good place like Oakland (with some weapons).

Leinhart should have probably gone pro last year. He'd already have enough money to live happily ever after, plus he'd have been able to say he was a #1 draft pick. Now? Not so much.

Vince Young would be insane not to go to the NFL. If they lost, I could see it, but they won. Theres nothing left to stay for once you win the title.

This game would have been different if the Longhorns dont fumble on the punt after USC initially gets stopped.

Exactly. He had the Heisman, the national title, and almost assuredly the number one pick. Now? No Heisman, no title, and he's almost guaranteed to fall to number two... or three... or lower depending on movement of teams and picks.

The Heisman, a 2nd title?

I can hope
