This will be the last season of this version of my IPA. I want to start over from scratch, without messing with the statistical modifiers and helping certain teams win at times. It will be a little bit smaller, going back to the original 64 teams from the 80 that it is now. And only division winners will qualify for the playoffs once again. I will be simulating the rest of the playoffs just to see who the 1984 Pro Cup winner is, and then that will be all, folks.

Also, this will not be a pro/rel league. I will create a second, much smaller dynasty for that. Something along the lines of EC's South Island League. Two separate leagues of 12 teams each. CD, I can redo Gordon Freeman and Arthyr Freeman's careers in the smaller league with much more realistic statistics. They likely wouldn't be superstars, just average to above average players at best.

I simulated to the end of the playoffs. The Delacroix Cubs reached their first Pro Cup Final, but the Glasco Celtics beat them in 7 games for their 10th IPA crown.

Just for fun, I will sim forward to the year 2000 so that I get 100 seasons in. Then I will post the IPA Pro Cup results. See what would happen without me influencing anything.

In 1985 the Ginza Ninjas became Pro Cup champions for the first time by defeating the New Yerby Yankees.
