Here are some pics I haven't seen posted before from recent hunts.
Standard disclaimer ... some good, some better than a blank box!

My Uni currently features primarily 1800's HW fighters, so I've been on the lookout and found some pretty good stuff. Some of this might have been posted before, but I didn't find it. If so, my apologies in advance.
The first 3 are bareknuckler Tom Allen at different stages of his career. |

...and finally as the grizzled veteran.
Tom Allen 1861-1884 1873 Allen won the "Heavyweight Championship of America" outpointing some fellow named Mike McCoole. Bareknuckler most of his career, but wore gloves to win the "Heavyweight Championship of Britain" in 1877. |

Joe Goss
1857-1880 11-2-4 Goss took the Championship of America belt away from Tom Allen in a DQ for Allen, who hit Goss when he was down. This was one of 4 battles between the two fighters, 2 wins and 2 draws for Goss. Goss lost the belt to Paddy Ryan 3.5 years later at Collier Station, WV, Goss's last recorded bout. |
