The original logo was a favorite of mine for a long time, but this take on it is a stroke of genius.

Probably not, but I will ponder it...
The handgun in the logo is not what you call "modern looking" imo at all... That is the Colt Model 1911, single action semi-automatic, 45 caliber handgun that originated in the year of 1911... It was the official sidearm of the US Military between 1911 and 1986...

Has anyone compiled a set of jerseys/caps by state?
First off, thank you for all the hard work that has been into this thread over the years. The work is amazing. I was thinking about creating a fictional league where each state has one team, possibly the Canadian Provinces also. Having read through the entire thread i found a few jerseys with state names (not including the college unis). I thought i would ask if this has been requested before?

Never seen this version before. Is this the full set?

Also Tex what font is on that or could i get a alt like the attched?

The Houston Colt .45s logo was hand drawn (as are most big league teams). But you can find png files of it with a Google Search.
