I agree with what Seth said. When I sit down to read, I may as well be picking up the sports section of the USA Today.

It will be pretty cool to see you tackle the modern era, but I was wondering; will you be controlling some teams this time around, or are you still the "Sports God"?

I have always prefered God Mode for the historical replays because I just like to see how events unfold rather than have a direct impact on them as a GM. I also feel I am a much better reporter than writer so the commissioner only role seems to suit my writing style more effectively.

However, I am having a great time doing the day to day management in my EHM and WWSM careers that I am presently running so I do want to find a way to incorporate it into the All-Sports format.

With the modern day sim my early thoughts are to take a junior or minor league team in both EHM and OOTP7 and control them will watching events unfold in the majors.

The idea I am considering now is for me to "purchase" the Tigers AA affliate in Erie and also the Ontario Hockey League's Erie Otters. I will act as the general manager of both teams and my posts will alternate between the GM's comments on his team and a local newspaper sports section. The newspaper side will be similiar to what I was doing before with maybe a little more emphasis on the area teams (Browns,Steelers,Bills in NFL, Indians and Pirates in MLB but also Tiger coverage because of the Erie affiliation, Cavs in NBA, Sabres and Pens in NHL, and various college football and basketball articles.)

I am still debating on which of the other sports I want to include - probably boxing with TBCB and soccer with Worldwide Soccer Manager will also appear. I am debating on adding the quick play game for golf, a tour de France game, Nascar Grandstand game, and a few others.

I remember this story from years ago... that was quite the undertaking! I cannot even write 1 season using 1 game.

Feeling nostalgic at New Years so I just finished rereading this one and my 1910 multi sport dynasty. Can’t believe I ever had time to write and play out all that.
