LansdowneSt facegens - 4 July 2022 zip file uploaded
Thanks! I like the enthusiasm!
![]() Here's the link for the zip file. It's the same link as in the past - I just swap out the zip file. 213 more MLB'ers (1,754 total) and 25 more recent minor leaguers (45 total). I still have about 550 facegens that I've posted in the past on the boards that I want to go back and QA/QC. Those are not in my zip yet but are in the Complete Universe Facepack, so if you keep loading my zip atop it, they will just update as I get to them. Eventually as the CU Facepack gets updated, my zip file will of course be available for FancySkunk to do with as he likes, adding or not the individual fgs. I'm still focused on the current 2022 rosters and debuts and everything I do is avail to OOTP Developments for inclusion in the game if the player is under their license. I'm also trying to stay atop requests and visit the faces the ballplayers from my youth and update them as best I can given the time constraints that come from everyday life. I thought I'd post this table to give those who care an idea of how I'm progressing through my checklist. The table is players by their debut years (with 2022 in its own row until the year ends). Again, this doesn't include the 550 additional ones I want to go back and QA/QC. So, of every player that has ever appeared in the bigs, I've redone about 7.75% since taking on the challenge of trying to improve my collection and sharing them. That feels good... until I extrapolate how long it will take to do them all... but never mind that... ![]() Anyway, here's the July 4 upload link. Next one will be in another 30 days or so. https://www.mediafire.com/file/ox6gx..._Pack.zip/file Enjoy! |

Lans, any chance you could do MGR & coaches facegens? I have a few that I did back in the day but when I import a MGR as a player then retire him i am stuck with their FG as a player. I swear for many they have the real FG of them but I don't see them in the FG folder.
If you do them, here are several i need: Sparky Anderson Jack McKeon Felipe Alou Tony LaRussa Bobby Cox (I have this but i hate it) Don Zimmer LaSorda Leo Durocher Connie Mack John McGraw Casey Stengel Dusty Baker Cito Gaston Jim Leyland Terry Bevington Dave Duncan Houk Billy Martin

I'll try to work the managers in - even whilst being behind on my player list. At least I have a Jim Leyland here:

Also, he looks weird in a hat. This is the one facegen where that no hat bug would be a good thing. |

The default Andrew Vaughn looked like a AI generated FG. So I searched for Vaughn and the one loaded is what came up but it looks off to me. Can you take a look at it. Any chance for goofy pic Vaughn?

I'll take a look at it and try to get in the next upload but it won't be a very material difference other than making it lighter (my source file is a bit in the shadows versus whatever espn was blinding him with). EDIT: Not sure why your Historical Minors ID is the bRef code. It should be vaughn000and Last edited by LansdowneSt; 07-21-2022 at 01:47 AM. |

Any chance for Arnold Johnson, former Owner of the Kansas City A's?
I can not find a good pic and I'm terrible with sideways pics and B&W pics. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arnold...industrialist) I am making an All Athletics Players Baseball League Quickstart. I could use Charlie O and others as well.I think Charlie O is in the FG folder.

Joe Lonnett - I deleted his player profile, so I don't have a screenshot of that.

Joe Lonnett
A once-promising Philadelphia Phillies prospect, catcher Joe Lonnett collected fewer than 400 major-league plate appearances yet put in nearly 50 years in professional baseball. An avid fan of the Pie Traynor/Frankie Frisch-led Pirates who played less than 50 miles from his boyhood home, he manned the third-base coaching box during the franchise’s famous “We Are Family” 1979 championship season. A devoted family man, Lonnett was nicknamed “Fred Flintstone” for his uncanny resemblance to the cartoon character. Much beloved by teammates and fans alike, he was widely mourned at his 2011 passing. - SABR
Redid the facegen by request. I usually eliminate smiles but here I addressed the teeth but left the bit of smile intact. |

Ty Waller
UPI ARCHIVES DEC. 16, 1980
CHICAGO -- Relief pitcher Bruce Sutter, traded by Chicago to St. Louis last seek, said he was happy to go to the Cardinals because there was little chance the Cubs would become a winner. Sutter was acquired by St. Louis in exchange for infielder Ken Reitz and outfielders Leon Durham and Ty Waller. Here's a facegen for Ty who played a lot of games for the Toros in Houston's minor league system but then went on to a long tenure as a base and bench coach in the Oakland organization and instructor for MLB youth programs. Facegen redone as per request. Last edited by LansdowneSt; 07-26-2022 at 11:16 PM. Reason: grammar fix |

Gene Bailey
There were 54 men who played for both the Boston Braves and the Boston Red Sox, but in all of baseball history, there was only one who played for both teams in the same year. That was Gene Bailey, and the year was 1920. He hit .083 for the Braves and after he was purchased by the Red Sox that May, he hit .230.
Overall, Gene played five years in the majors from his five games for the A's in 1917 to his final MLB games for Brooklyn in 1924. He returned to Texas where he raised a single adopted child. His grandson elaborates: "Mom was the only child. She was actually adopted. During the Depression, someone knew Gene was a ballplayer and actually left my mom on the front porch of Gene’s house when she was a baby, thus hoping she would be taken care of. Gene’s wife took her in and they ended up adopting her.” - SABR I looked at three pictures in making the facegen, including a later year one that was straight-on from the 1930 Rice yearbook where he coached for a time. The Rice pic showed his face wider than the side-shots would have otherwise made the facegen. The photo found on in the Gambo and T_Wil1 Photopack thread was the one I ultimately used for the actual facegen, however, as I think it got the core features down best. |

Henry Bostick
Born Henry Lipschitz, Bostick saw action in two major league games as a third baseman for the Philadelphia Athletics during the 1915 season. In eight plate appearances, he failed to record a hit, but managed two RBIs and a walk. The A’s finished in last place that year, managing only 43 wins. - The Jewish Baseball Museum website
I could only find the one photo but fortunately, it was a straight-on one. I adjusted for the tilt. |

In my AAPBL dynasty thread i will post all the OD players in a team pic. I noticed several more that probably need to be fixed but I wont bug ya with posting tons of pics (unless you want me to). This way you can write down which ones you feel might need to be re-done.
