But I clearly have a player that is listed DTD, 85% fit, for a period of three months due to a... Ruptured Achilles Tendon.

I'm playing historical mode. I began in 1967-68, it is now 1971-72. At the beginning of the season, I have four players who are 4 star. Dallas Smith, Dale Tallon, Derek Sanderson, and Ken Hodge. It's December 18th, and now, only Tallon is 4 star. Everybody else has dropped to 3.5 stars, even though in attribute development, Hodge is the only one who has had any, going -1 in positioning. Everybody else had no change to their attributes. Also, Marcel Dionne went from 3.0 with 4.0 potential to 3.0 with 3.5 potential to 3.0 to 3.0 potential? I don't get it, his defensive and offensive potential ratings are still exactly the same, yet he is now suddenly capped off? It's all really strange.

These star ratings are all relative. If you have Robert Gordon Orr on your team and he is still improving others will pale in comparison.

Yeah, we're aware of that, something is causing injuries that shouldn't be day-to-day to occasionally get that designation.

The potential number also considers the amount of time the player has remaining to reach that potential - if he's getting older and his ratings are still a long distance away from their listed potential, the game will take into account the fact that his development will level off due to aging before he ever gets close to his potential. That said, there was also a bug fixed recently that caused an unintended drop in perceived potential, so you may see some changes in that area in the next update.

That's not correct, the ratings aren't adjusted relative to other players on the team.

On the list, I believe, I don't like hitting the buttons to increment numbers, either. No definite timeframe for when it's added, we've still got some outright bugs to clear before getting into the ease-of-use stuff.

Edit: actually, now that I look at how this is working, I think it may actually be a bug, I'll upgrade it from a feature request to bug status, so it may get looked at a little sooner.

Another one.
The oncoming draft class for my league (QJMHL) is really, really small. Like, absurdly small, something like 75 players total.

I think I am starting to believe it is my cpu, but I get crashes mostly during or after games .... sometimes seemingly if I am using the league a while, this is why I think it may be my cpu.... more I use, the more it is sure to happen eventually ... suddenly my cpu can not keep up?

I have a problem. I have 705,000$ that I can't use (which is quite a lot, for a small budget team in the Swiss National League A). It's 705,000$ reserved for something called "Offered Contracts", but I don't recall offering anyone this amount. Also, there are no open offers visible, in the Free Agent Centre page.

Could anyone help? I really need to sign someone good, but with 705k gone, I only have 400k left, which is not enough.

A few years into the game. Only 13 players rated 4* or + potential too. Usually that number is closer to, say, 30.

I did start another game in the OHL this time around and only 40-something players available in the first OHL draft...?!?!?

The first year's draft can be a little thin, at least until we get more real midget-aged players added to the database, but I can't think of a reason why the draft pool would dry up mid-game like that, and looking through a few saves I can't find any examples of it happening. Could you upload the save file so I can have a look at it? Instructions here, or put it on a filesharing site like filedropper.com or dropbox and PM me the link.

I'm playing Historical and the 1969 Draft keeps crashing the game, on Steam? I'm playing without drafts so its irritating this. Pittsburgh Penguins and i started in 1967.

Aha, found the problem. There was a version released earlier that had an issue where most of the newly-generated bantam players in Canada were getting non-Canadian nationalities. This eventually starves the junior drafts of players, since they leave for their "home" countries before reaching midget. It was patched, but it looks like this save was started in the period where the bug was active, so unfortunately it's going to be stuck this way since the fix doesn't work retroactively.

The AI will only dress a player if needed. In your case it still had enough player dressed, so it made the lines you posted. If you dress the 6th d-man yourself, it would use it for the lines.

I know the concept of AI/Human Manager in the different areas is not optimal at the moment. We will now sit down and better define the roles and what it makes and not make with the different settings.
