Out of Salinas California. This program hails from the "Salad Bowl of the World". 23 players have gone onto the next levels of baseball from this school, with 6 playing professionally, and one reaching the Majors. You may be familiar with him: Xavier Nady, a Salinas Legend!

Out of Cupertino California. Homestead has produced 23 players for the next levels of baseball, including 9 to play professionally. Out of the 4 players from this school to play MLB, the one who really caught my attention was one of my all time favorite players Scott Erickson, who was one of the three aces on the 1991 World Champion Twins. The only championship I have ever seen one of my teams win.

Out of Los Gatos California. The alma mater of my man Jared Allen, and to a lesser extent MLB player Logan Schafer. Other than these guys, Los Gatos has produced 45 players to go on to the higher levels of baseball, with 20 of them playing professionally. A respectable California prep baseball program.

Out of Santa Cruz, California. The Cardinals have produced Glenallen Hill, what more can be said? This California prep program has produced 30 players for the next levels of baseball, with 13 going on to earn some sort of paycheck, Glenallen Hill and two others had MLB signed on their checks.

I'll see if I can get to the others. I see these guys were 2017 champs, tried to get as accurate detail as my skills allow. The road wordmark is close, but I am still developing some skills to get that right to left curve accurate. Hope these work for you.

The Monarchs are California prep power, ranking 5th nationally in 2010 and producing 50 players for the next levels of baseball. 20 of those have gone on to play professionally, with 5 reaching the Show. Trevor Hildenberger and Mitch Haniger are alumni who are currently playing.

Located in Scotts Valley California. This program has only sent 6 players to the next levels of baseball, but of those, two are currently playing MLB. Those players are P Shane Carle and P Robbie Erlin.

Out of Santa Cruz California. Harbor has produced 10 players to go onto the higher levels of baseball, with 5 playing professionally and 1 reaching the Majors that being 90's pitcher Tom Urbani.

Located in San Francisco California, is a private, Catholic preparatory school in the Jesuit tradition, serving the San Francisco Bay Area since 1855. St. Ignatius' traditional rival is Sacred Heart Cathedral Prep, also located in San Francisco. These two schools compete for the Bruce-Mahoney Trophy, which is named after one SI and one SH alumnus who died in WW2. SI has a significant edge over SH, with a winning record of 45-20 for the trophy. The Wildcats have produced 39 players to go on to the higher levels of baseball, with 8 playing professionally. Old time player Dutch Ruether played here when it was known as St. Ignatius College. Hall of Fame NFL QB Dan Fouts is also alumni.

Located in Mountain View California, St. Francis is a powerhouse program from Northern California. A perennial contender, the Lancers have ranked 17th nationally in 2004, 6th nationally in 2013, and 14th nationally as recently as 2015. This school has produced 30 professional players, with 6 reaching the Big Leagues. Daniel Descalso, Carney Lansford's sons Jared and Josh, and Eric Byrnes are all alumni of this prestigious prep program.

Located in San Mateo California, Serra High has a prestigious history of producing quality prep baseball players. 44 players have gone on to play professionally from this school, with 11 playing MLB. Dan Serafini, Greg Jefferies, Jim Fregosi and none other than Barry Bonds have played for this program. Another noted name from Serra: Probable GOAT Tom Brady, although I claim that under duress.
