Those panels are meant to be used when the player's exact attributes aren't visible. They're only a rough indicator of overall ability, since they're derived from a number of different attributes.

I wanted to respectfully disagree with this statement, for the sake of clarity; as a commissioner, I NEVER look at things behind the scenes. I don't put that much work into my leagues just to rig it or whatever. That's no fun!

And having the talks with the guys in my league about this, not realizing what all of the fuss was about until I logged in as one of them and saw that they couldn't see what I was seeing, it truly is a big deal.

I do agree with your second statement though: In Fog of War, hide the ratings tab for ALL players, but have the ratings on the profile main page visible for a basic overview.

Regardless--it's a great game that's continuing to improve with things like this!

In Historical mode, how do i watch my teams players scoring for earlier seasons then where i'm now?

This isn't limited to fog of war mode. In an online multi-player league without fog of war, even, if a commish is also managing a team, they can see lots of ratings that the rest of the people can not (see above).

A couple of questions in this regard, on behalf of the commish of our league:
  • is it possible to create a new random human user and transfer commissioner status to that user, so that the commissioner can play as a regular manager (and see what the regular manager sees), logging in to the commish account as needed for league functions?
  • how do we delete all of the random extra Joe Average GMs that seem to be multiplying while passing the league file back and forth?

Thanks for the help. This is our first sim game ever, and while it was completely overwhelming at first, we're starting to get into it--though not without some bumps in the road.

As an alternative, it's not necessarily bad if all GMs can have the option to see these expanded stats, since we only have limited information to judge players on in a text-based sim environment anyway.

One way or another, I think we need a change that allows the option for equity between the GM/Commissioner and regular GMs, whether that means both sides seeing more ratings or fewer.

Click on history on the team menu, then in the list of seasons shown at the bottom of the screen, click on the year column for the year you want to see and it'll show the scoring for that year.

I have a fictional league, when making one you are asked if you want to make three (Major, Minor, Junior) ...

I didn't make the Junior..... I think one can just edit in the Junior leagues and job done....

Without it, I am afraid to say the Draft is kind of worthless... almost seems ALL 18 Y/O are available for draft .... whether having already signed as free agent or not.. !!! :-< .. 'drafting' off other team's rosters!

So I regret not doing Juniors ...

But it would have been easy to do... to edit from those leagues

If one wants to edit the draftees... gotta wait for the draft and then look at the list and edit it right after....

FHM2 won't process to the next season

I just finished the 15-16 season with the Predators and have tried to go past June 30 twice and the game just keeps "simulating for many minutes and not moving to July 1. What is up with that and is there a way to get the game to process to the next season, 16-17 season???

1. Oakland W-8 L-4 OT-O PCT. 667
2. San Antonio W-8 L-3 OT-1 PCT. 667

San Antonio should be PCT. 708

PCT. is points percentage possible points out of possible games 17 points out of 24 possible points equals .708 (or something).

You need to let it load.. It does take a long time, sometimes more than a few minutes. Don't give up on it.
