When I created a minor league system, I noticed that the settings for the awards only listed MVP, Pitcher Award, and Defense Award. I thought at the time that the new awards just weren't implemented at the lower league levels.

However, when I started play, it turns out that these awards ARE being given, using the default names "Platinum Stick", etc. Rookie of the Year is not implemented, apparently, but Platinum Stick and Reliever of the Year are.

Oversight? or Bug?

You're right. It does create the impression that the team won the Wild Card game. I made changes to the headline in the text DB. Thanks.

I'm going to call it a bug, though it's probably not really a bug and more a suggestion. However, I'm calling it a bug...

After a team is eliminated from the playoffs, the Roster & Transaction screen should drop the "&" for playoff roster eligibility.

Again, not a bug, but an AI logic suggestion.

I'm playing as a manager (so I can't do anything with promotions) and I'm sitting with 32 players on my 40-man roster. It is September and I'm sitting with several players in my AAA that I should be up on my roster. I need bullpen help (everyone tired after a couple of extra-inning games) and they're Rule-5 eligible anyway.

What's the logic for keeping them in AAA?

Sigh....World Series "scores" page. Not sure what's going on. Shouldn't say "National League" game. SUppose it's because it's at the NL park. Should just say "World Series" or something.

Start a game in 2010. All contracts appear as though signed with the 2015 season in mind.

Have repeated this for every year:

For example the date is March 23, 2012 and a specified start year of 2012.

Ubaldo Jimenez (Baltimore) contract info states:

Signed prior to 2014 season
Remaining Salaries listed for 2015, 2016, and 2017.

Kind of time travel stuff going on ---- or are really bad lawyers/agents being modeled with this?

Specifiying a start date always seems to pull in the contract structure for that player for 2015.

Just bought and downloaded the game. Downloaded fine. Opened the game and went to start a new game, no matter what league I select the screen stops and shows an error message saying "WORLD::get_from_data_device - invalid city record 0", then the game freezes. I have re-downloaded the game in case there was an issue with that. Still the same message.

Occurs regardless of what kind of game or league.

No idea what is going on, just really want to get started.

I'm managing an independent league (Atlantic League) team and I was doing very well, but my season is stuck on a particular day with an annoying error message.

It's June in this league. A short-season rookie league team (in the Appalachian League) has somehow ended up with no players on its roster. Though this team has nothing to do with mine, the season won't advance because this Appalachian League team has an illegal roster.

Another bug not bug.

If there's a day off between games of a series and there is a rainout, the game should be played on the day off. There was a game on the 11th, but it was rained out and rescheduled to the 13th for a doubleheader instead of the 12th when it'd just be single games.

Not sure if this has been posted yet, but I recently noticed a double header scheduled with one game home and one away.
