When I am in Sketchup doing the backgrounds and have built the ground and place for the background, I use the color pallets on the right side of the screen to color the 'ground' under the stadium. In the color pallet selections are landscaping, grass, etc. Some the ground cover selections are called textures but when I select them with the dropper and dump them with the paint can all I get is a solid color, no texture. If I open that color it shows 'use texture'.

Hmm not sure exactly. Could be that the scale is so small that the textures look like a solid color. You can click the edit tab and fool with the horizontal and vertical distances.

You can make the green ivy brown simply by making a copy of the image, convering the copy to greyscale, converting it back to rgb and adding a sepia filter to it.

I understand what you are saying but I can't find a way the selection to change the distances.

Wow. I knew you would make these great. Much thanks. Nicely done.

The fan area with the steps fit right in. Did you figure a way to edit the OOTP Wrigley that came with the game? Either way, I like the job you did.

I created it from scratch using Clems diagrams

Dont know if it was there in 1979 and I know its been repainted in the last few years but would love to see this as a building in teh background in some version. The Budweiser house past LF.

That is terrific. That's how good it looks to the one from the game. Really awesome. Even better than the one in the game.

Since the last update, moving the larger labels is a little easier. You have to keep switching from 3D view to broadcast view. The broadcast view is the easiest place to move them. Use the right click button and drag them to where you think you want them. Then you have to switch back to 3D view to see the results of your move. You might have to do this routine many times before you get all the players where you want them. Don't forget the batters and base runners, too. Also, the corner outfielders, corner infielders and the 1st and 3rd base runners will be off the diagram in the broadcast view. It's much easier to do this with this latest update. I'll try and post a couple pics to show you.

This is the broadcast view. This is where you move the players.

Notice how the left and right fielders are off the field? Same as the 1st and 3rd basemen?

Then on the broadcast view, in the drop down on the upper right, you can save the coordinates because you will have to then paste it for day or night view. Plus, there is also an option to save for ALL the parks in your league. Same thing, day or night. Do both day and night. Remember, since all parks are not exactly the same, they may be off a bit but will still look ok. Hope all of this helps you out.

Ugh. That should be made more independent in the next version. That is not a very good workaround at all if you wanted to switch between screens.
