Minor item:

When playing a game on the west coast, the out-of-town games widget stops showing results after the last live game completes. I think it should continue to show final scores from earlier that day.

It is a crash to the desktop. If I recall it is a this program has stoped responding and I close the program. For this reason, I have auto-save every week

When adding a sub-league to the MLB universe, I cannot change the region. Is this intended?

I posted this in General Discussions but this may be the better place. Playing a Historical game starting in 1957 managing the Orioles, while using Auto Play I get a message on 6/13 that D. Williams has been traded. Just for the heck of it, I go to Baseball-Reference.com to verify that and it is true. However, while there I check the actual line-ups for that day and D. Williams started for the Orioles in LF.

In my game, on 6/13 the starting LF for the Orioles was Bob Nieman. It would appear that Real Life Transactions take place BEFORE the games of the day are played and perhaps the sequence should be games played that day then transactions? It would be rare, I think, that a player traded on a given day would appear in uniform for the team he was traded TO but this shows it is quite possible for a player to be traded AFTER the day's games are played.

The good news is that the game did not crash because a player who was in the real lineup was not available and a substitution was made. One game is a very small deal in the overall scheme of things in this case, but it still detracts, even in the smallest, from historical accuracy. Were this a SP the impact might be greater.

Just happen again. The error is Visual C++ Run-time error. No more information besides that.

For my 1957 replay using Historical Lineups and Transactions, I changed the import path under League Setup > Historical tab. I then played real-time simulation and confirmed that real lineups were used for that day. When I started the game later, though, I got message "Attention! Could not open the historical_import_path.." followed by my path. However, when I went to manage one of the games, the historical lineup was there for that day. If the import path can't be opened, how is it using historical lineups? Is this a bug?

EDIT: OK, the original path I put in on the League Setup > Historical tab was "c:\Users\User\My Documents\Out of the Park Developments\Out of the Park 13\stats". This is what I see when I use the normal file explorer, but when I changed the path to "c:\Users\User\Documents....." instead, it worked fine. This is what OOTP sees. Why the path it sees is different than the path Windows 7 shows me is something only Windows 7 experts could tell, I guess. This is something that could bite other Windows 7 users when they try to change that path.

OK, so I hope I am reporting this correctly.

I played a game against the Yankees as the Rangers where they won. After the game I got the following email:



Problems:
1) Jim Tracy is not the manager for New York
2) It pulls the card for Jhoulys Chacin who does not pitch for either team.

The year in my game is 1988 (top of the screen).

This guy is a free agent after 1986 according to his contract. What gives? Shouldn't he have already been a free agent then? So what contract is he on now? Something is wrong here

I am having an issue. I am creating a fictional universe. I have about 9 different leagues. I am starting in 1901 and I check import financial data. I go to start the game and a few of the leagues still show 2012 finances. I go to league setup and redo financial and give new cotnracts to players and personnel and then redo totals. Now the finances are correct but all the coachs have $0 contracts. I simmed a few years and all the coaches get $0 contracts and half the players in the league have $0 contracts.

I started a Major League 2012 season game. I am the manager for the Goodyear Reds, and I have noticed that sometimes when I play my game that it has the game time below 0. Like it will show it as -6 degrees and the commentator at the beginning of the game will talk about how it's a nice warm day out there with a temperature of -6. Also I should note that I am using the 2012 all in one mod.

minor item: Injury history doesn't seem to align with the players actual injury history - eg. Strasburg has had 6 injuries in 8 years - last one being 2 years ago (all minor injuries with the longest being one week!) and yet his Injury History is 'Wrecked'.

Not sure if this realtes to past or future but he seems durable to me. Pitched over 200IP 6 times in 7 years.

With real-life transactions and lineups turned on, the game will still allow one to limit active roster sizes and it seems that if a player who was in the line-up IRL isn't on the active roster the AI will allow the human manager to substitute another player and the AI will do so in auto-play or quick-play modes. I have seen this with both position players and pitchers.

The game crashes, however, if the human manager tries to change the starting pitcher if that starting pitcher is on the active roster. I can understand why the game would not allow this but wish an error message would alert the manager, much like a missing position message that pops up, instead of the game crashing.

Edited to add after further testing: under any circumstances with regard to roster size when playing with real line-ups, the human manger can alter the line-up swap out players, etc, for position players but cannot change the pitcher. This is even true using 25-man rosters where the real SP is not on the roster and the AI had made a substitution, trying to change that substitution results in the game crashing. Knowing this now, I will not make the mistake of trying to change the Sp with real-life transactions turned on. Any "fix" that takes away the flexibility in regard to position players is undesirable. Keep that flexibility, just have a pop up similar to what pops up when a position is not filled.

Kevin Youkilis does not correctly import into the game via the historical database (at least, he doesn't for the 2011 season I just started).

While you can manually import him individually after the main league import, it doesn't work correctly. While a "Kevin Youkilis" does enter the game, his ratings are severely depressed and do not match real life. I wonder if this may be because the ID for Kevin Youkilis on baseball reference and other places is actually misspelled?

I noticed this same issue in OOTP v12, incidentally.

I don't know if this has been mentioned but when using auto-play and playing to a specific date if play is interrupted due to a personal message one has to go back to auto play and reset the date tot he desired day again.

Have the all-in-one installed, and also installed the historical facegen pack by Gambo which is almost a completely overlap so I'm not sure a single of of those got installed.

Crashed to desktop before even getting to the Generating fictional pictures thing.

So, I then started another game with all of those same options, but had to change the name to 1995a because it said 1995 already existed (and there is save game folder called 1995 in my data folder, but it can't be selected from the in-game menu).

So my 1995a game was successfully created in that it didn't crash to desktop, but almost every single option I chose when setting up the game went back the default after I started it, except for using random rookies from all eras, and rookie fielding/pitching.

Page 1 Item. Is this still an issue? If it is, could you please reproduce the intial problem and follow the direction to ftp the league files? Thanks.

I believe malichai11's issue is the creating player pictures at start up. I had the same problem.

Try using all the same settings but change player pictures creation to "on demand".
