The other day I found a photo of what appeared to be a JL Sullivan era fighter supposedly named James Whalen. However, when I looked him up, the nearest thing I found was a Jimmy Whalen who fought many years later. So, either this is some obscure fighter, or the name is wrong. Anyone here ever hear of a James Whalen?

Found this photo listed as Billy Marquart heavyweight. Turns out it's really Canadian welterweight Billy Marquart who fought during the 1930s and into 1941 when he joined the Armed Forces.

Found a website with some painting type pictures of hard to find fighters such as Hughie Mehegan whom is not rated that I can find. Or Johnnie Summers who is also not rated.
