Yup, new crowd looks awesome... WAY better.

Funny though - this is something I noticed with the OOTP stadiums and the pawns: In terms of scale relative to the crowd, the pawns look like these giant monster pawns from hell... playing baseball.

Hmm. Well, that's ok. Only have how many stadiums to update now?

No way. Haha.

There are lots of nice textures I can use from the OOTP stadiums. I just found them when I downloaded irfanview. An image viewer that can read the webp format

Wait... so, you used irfanview to just look at the image? Because I know I was able to manipulate the webp file and make changes to it with Paint.net and Photoshop with the use of a plugin.

The trouble I noticed is when you make a change to the webp file, there's a hole in the 3D model. For example, I tried to remove the texture for the Monster seats in the OOTP version of Fenway Park and there was still a black hole were the seats were.

Yeah the crowd texture was one file. Opened it in irfanview and saved it as a png

I wonder if there is a freeware program that can crack open the actual wire frame model...

I *think* OOTP uses Blender to make their stadiums, no?

Either way, the new crowd texture make the stadiums look really cool.

They did use blender, but I don't think there is a way to edit the model. I have blender, but it's too difficult for me to spend the time on.

The singular textures will work good for me though.

Personally, I think the stuff you're doing in sketchup looks way better than the stuff in Blender.

Although, I also think OOTP has limited resources to devote to 3D modeling. If they had more time and more bodies, it'd look pretty sharp. As for now, I really like the models in sketchup better: more detail, crisper textures, etc...

I've decided to tackle wrigley from 1938. The thing is, not many changes to it until 1978 and all that was was basically a warning track and an extension of the grandstand all the way down right field.

Thanks for deciding to give Wrigley a shot. I would be satisfied with any year that doesn't have that big black message board in left center like the one that comes with the game. There is nothing on it and it looks silly blank.

One question, though. Brown or green ivy? Doesn't matter. Thanks

Going with green I think. Hard to find a brown ivy texture

When I select one of the textures in Sketchup and apply it all I get is a solid cover. I looked at the help site and it is not clear how to apply those textures. How do you do it?
