Not sure if this is a bug or a "feature" but when playing in an online league and if you are not the commissioner the save file locks in the preference for "Players / Coaches List".
So essentially, I'm playing in an online league. The commish sent out the league file. I have "Scroll Bar" set under that option, but the league file will not take it. All of the reports are page selector instead. Changing the preference does not change the behavior of the reports. I just checked, the commish is set to "Scroll Bar" as well. I've only seen this with the online league all of my other saves are fine.

Wrong number of games suspended in news story
In one of the games in my league there was a brawl and two players got suspended. The news story says they each got suspended 2 games, but looking on their player pages, they were only suspended 1 game.
Here's part of the news story: ![]() And here's what each player's profile says: ![]() |

I'm getting about one crash per night. Usually it is when click the news item on the toolbar on the right hand side of the screen. It doesn't give me any more information to pass on.

Injury History
A VERY high percentage of players injury histories are either Fragile or Wrecked when simming my fictional league. When I say high percentage I would say over half. This is with teh normal injury setting.
I've always played with normal and it is way higher than anything I have previously seen. Asked around in the forums and others are seeing the same thing. I have submitted a ticket. Would be more than happy to provide any files needed.

Not a big one, but I did find it pretty humorous however, that 3 days into my first season, I got a news story about how the Texas Rangers have hit their "Tragic Number" for this year and are out of playoff contention...the crazy part is they are leading their division at 2-0....hahahaha
Story was dated 4/06/2012

I think I figured out that this happens when the list size gets too large. I noticed after I deleted a couple of minor leagues, the players got dumped into the free agent pool. There were too many players in the free agency pool, so it switched to page selector, which sucks. |

I don't know if this is working as intended or the Coach/Scout Rating Scale is not working properly.
I set it to "None Displayed" Yet it shows this (the Ratings displayed without the varied colors, just red letters): ![]() The Coach/Scout Rating Scale option seems to only have an effect on the BNN Coach Page (the ratings aren't displayed here). The problem is, I still see the ratings of the coach. I don't need to see detailed numbers to tell me if the coach is good or not. It already tells me that the coach is LEGENDARY or merely just GOOD. I prefer seeing no ratings at all (Fog of War) to add that extra challenge. |

Opponents scheduled starters
In your team home page you can see bottom left your upcoming opponents with their scheduled starting pitchers. This information is very inacurate however. Example below shows Mike Minor two days in a row. See this quite often, not sure what causes this.
If we look at our next opponent, Arizona, we see that Saunders will pitch today, followed by Kennedy and then Hudson. If we then look at the Arizona starting rotation we see that Saunders is indeed the scheduled starter. However the AI then BLINDLY assumes that no 1 will follow no 5 and no2 will follow no 1. It always uses this reasoning when determining the scheduled starters. The starting rotation as shown is however NOT the order in which they rotate, but it shows how the AI assesses these pitchers. So Kennedy is rated as the no 1 pitcher, Hudson no 2 etc. If we look at Kennedy's status we see that he pitched yesterday, so he is certainly not going to pitch tomorrow. This makes the information of the scheduled starters rather useless, which is a shame since it can be quite usefull when determining your lineups for the next couple of games. |

Another small thing I noticed is it appears what is supposed to be a "!" is showing up as an "l", or perhaps it is just the font. Either way, it really needs to be looked into...

Trades are allowed after the deadline if all of the players involved clear waivers.

Jim Unknown
Imported fictional league from '12
ghost players on Started '13 just before free agency and now I just finished opening day and see lots of Jim Unknowns in all teams minor league systems. It looks like they were created to fill the minor league levels up to the max allowed, like the ghost players function isn't working. |

Look at the red encircled area at the top.
How do I have a 3-3 record when "Regular Season began yesterday"? ![]() I'm pretty sure Regular Season started several days ago - at least I thought so. Gubicza who is due to start today, is my 2nd starter. Dwight Gooden is suppose to pitch opening day, but he just pitched my last game, so something is up. |

MLB 2012 first-year player draft pool
I don't think this is a bug, but the first-year player draft pool in the v13 MLB 2012 is much too deep and talented, much more so than previous versions. I'm at the first-year player draft in my v13 2012 season using the New Major League Game setup and and noticed that the player pool is stacked with 4 and 5 star potential prospects. This includes the real players like Buxton, Appel, etc. plus fictional players. I have scouting set to 100% accurate since the pool looked so deep and extremely talented. I even went into commissioner mode to the player editor to verify those star ratings are legit and they are. I counted 34 5-star, 30 4.5-star and 30 4-star players in the pool. This is much deeper and more talented than what I had seen in v12 first-year player pools. I ran several test games at lower player creation modifiers (.8 and .85) and got more reasonable pools of players (e.g., 4 to 6 5-star, 7 to 19 4.5-star, and 14 to 25 4-star). Was this high level of players intended in v13?

No crashes or hangups here, but in my now deeply buried thread 25-35 year old players shouldn't be 5 star hopefuls coming out of high school in the inaugural draft. Hope this get's a fix or at least looked at. Thanks

Rule 5 Draft
I know some options aren't intended to work like it does in real life, but I read the manuel and it says that players are only available for the rule 5 draft if they have less than 6-7 (but more than 3) years time of professional baseball.
However, I am seeing guys like Brad Hawpe (and many others with way more than 6-7 years of pro baseball experience) being selected in the Rule 5 draft. I am thinking that it is a bug because they all have one thing in common and that they all have less than 6 years of MAJOR league experience. |

This is either a bug or else I'm missing something. But here's an issue. I request a scouting report, then I receive it as an incoming message. My last report (on Alfredo Aceves, FYI) says that he is a 2.0 star player relative to MLB.
So then I go pull up Aceves on my roster and he is listed as a 1.0 star player. Under the "Scouted by" drop down, I have the same scout who sent the message and the same date the report was completed. These should be the same, right? I've resorted to keeping messages to "cross check" the scouting report on several players' pages, which is clumsy, not to mention the fact that I don't know which one is supposed to be more accurate. |
