Hey. Just go into your uni and click the fighters and on the menu to theright there is an option to import the files.

When I do that it creates a fighter with no name, no ratings, and history. It's an empty shell.

You could try copying a few of Jackyle's fighter files into a new folder on your PC, then go into your AU in the game, go into the FIGHTERS section, open the MENU on the right and click "Import File(s)". When I try this it opens my main folder, I open the folder with my new fighter files and I import.

Is this not happening for you?

I took one of the files he made on the 9th (Alex Dilmaghan). I hit import and it put the file into a OOTP documents folder. When I do this it creates a fighter, but there is no information in it. No name, no ratings, no biography.

HOW TO IMPORT A FIGHTER
This is how you import a fighter from the forum in Windows 10.
First, find the fighter you want, right click on the attachment, then left click where it says "Save ink as"

That should open your default download area. You can change it download to whatever location you like.

Now you go to Title Bout, open the universe you want to add the fighter to, and click the "Fighters" button. On the right there's a slider labeled "MENU". Open that and click the button marked "Import File(s)".

It should open a box similar to the one you saw when you downloaded the fighter. Find where you downloaded and select the tbdx file(s) you want to add to the universe then click "Open".

The game will then ask if you want to Import stats and fight record. This doesn't really matter for grabbing a fighter from the forum, but it is useful if you want to want to move a fighter from one uni to another and keep his record intact. If you are importing multiple fighters and the answer is the same for all of them, clicking the "Don't ask this again" box will speed up the process.

Needless to say that doesn't sound right. I should think when you hit IMPORT the fighter should show up in the game. When you hit IMPORT do you see the TBDx3 file in a folder prior to transfer?

I just tried importing one of Bear's fighter files and it worked. First I downloaded his TBDX3 file to my PC, then moved it to a folder I call Holding Cell. Then I went into the game and the FIGHTERS section and opened the MENU on the extreme right of the screen, and clicked on "Import File(s)". This action took me to where the file was and I imported it. When I opened the fighter in the game it seemed fine.

Well thanks, but that didn't lead to me being able to add fighters I'd downloaded from this forum to my universe. I'm still trying to figure out how to do that (TBCB2013, Win10, Opera browser, btw).

It's not much different from the process in posts 6152-53 above. Instead of the menu being on the far right of the fighters tab click the last dropdown at the top, marked "Edit". Go down to "Import TBDX3 File".
