TIGERFAN'S SPORTING DAILY : WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 12, 1947
BASEBALL HALL OF FAME CANDIDATE LOOKING BACK: CHICK HAFEY "The greatest World Series performer ever." That sentence or some close variation of it never fails to come up every time someone mentions the name Chick Hafey. It is hard to argue when you look at the stats the former St Louis Cardinals outfielder put up in postseason play. Start with his record 5 homers in the 1930 series and look at the record 41 career rbi's he delivered in 45 series games. He also ranks first all-time in World Series triples, runs scored and total bases. Hafey is back in the news because having retired from baseball five years ago his name will be featured prominently on the latest Hall of Fame ballot. While he may not be a lock to get an invite to Cooperstown on his first attempt, you certainly have to feel he stands a good shot. Nevermind the postseason heroics, Hafey made his mark during the regular season as well - 9 allstar appearances, 2 gold gloves and the 1929 National League most valuable player award are among the baubles he collected from his playing days. However, it is the postseason that brings Hafey's name to the forefront. Here are his career playoff stats followed by a recap of each series he appeared in. Code:

1929- Another shot at the series but again facing a repeat winner in Detroit. The more experienced Tigers prevailed in 7 hard fought games. Hafey tied for the series lead with Bottomley and Detroit's Dale Alexander by driving in 8 runs. Hall of Fame second baseman Rogers Hornsby was the only Cardinal to better Hafey's 12 hits. Hafey got 4 of his hits in a 20-5 St Louis win in Game 5 and drove in two runs in the 8-6 loss in game 7. 1930- Third time is the charm as Hafey and his mates finally won a series and they did so by beating the mighty Yankees led by Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig and Hack Wilson. It was Hafey who led the series in homers including a pair in a 13-7 Game seven victory. With 104 victories and a 19 game cushion over second place Brooklyn this was probably the best team Hafey ever played on. 1933 - Injuries had ruined the 1931 season for the Cards and in 1932 they lost a 1-game playoff to the Cubs but St Louis was back with a vengance in 1933. Hafey hit .312 in the 7 game series but drove in just two runs. However, he did score 7 runs including the winning marker in a 5-2 game 7 victory over Cleveland. 1934 - The Cardinals had a great year in 1934 and led by 20-game winners Dizzy Dean and Watty Clark had little trouble with Detroit in the series. The Tigers took the opener 4-3 with a run in the top of the ninth but St Louis responded when Paul Dean pitched a 2-hit shutout in Game 2. Brother Dizzy was nearly as good in a 6-2 game 3 win and the Cards would wrap up their second straight World Championship 2 games later. 1936 - The 1935 season was a tight race all the way as 4 teams finished within 5 games of the lead including the Cards who were 4 games back. Chicago and Brooklyn tied for top spot with the Cubs again winning a playoff to advance ending St Louis' shot at a 3rd straight World Title. However, in 1936 it would be St Louis who would win a 1-game playoff over Pittsburgh to get into the Series. Hafey would drive in 2 runs in the 3-2 playoff win over the Bucs and then would get 3 hits in each of the first three series games with the Yankees. He was hitless in a game seven 3-2 victory but still finished with a .367 average in the series. 1939 - One last October memory for a now 36 year old Hafey as he capped a career year with 31 homers and 121 rbi's by hitting a 3-run homer in an 11-5 game seven win over Detroit. Hafey also got game six off to a great start when he drove in Johnny Mize with a first inning double in a 4-0 St Louis win. The Cardinals would return to the series in 1940 and once again win in 7 games (over the Yankees this time) but Hafey would watch the series from the dugout with rib injury. In 1941 Hafey played 138 games and drove in 76 rbi's as the Cardinals led down the stretch. However, they went into Chicago on the seasons second to last weekend and proceeded to lose 4 straight games and the National League pennant in the process. With youngsters like Stan Musial and Enos Slaughter taking over Hafey could see the writing on the wall and retired after the 1942 season rather than become a bench player with the Cards. REAL LIFE From Baseball Library: One of the hardest-hitting righthanded batters in the game, Hafey had his best years with the Cardinals. It is difficult to assess how great Hafey might have been if not for his ill health, poor eyesight, and constant salary disputes. Hafey had a chronic sinus condition that required several operations and affected his vision. After beanings in 1926, a doctor advised him to wear glasses, and since his eyesight would vary from day to day, he used three different pairs. He became one of the first bespectacled outfielders. He hit safely in 10 consecutive plate appearances in 1931, still a National League record. In 1932 Hafey joined the Reds, who paid him $15,000, though they were a last-place club. Battling the flu and his sinus condition, Hafey played just 84 games, but hit .344. In 1933 he hit .303, making the first All-Star team (and getting the first hit in All-Star history, a single in the second inning), but his health was not good. His last campaign as an everyday player was 1934. He hurt his shoulder in 1935, but on May 24, played in the first-ever regular season night game. The evening's dampness aggravated his sinuses. He saw the future of night baseball, and realized his career was ending. He retired, sitting out the rest of 1935 and all of 1936, but attempted a comeback in '37, playing in 89 games. He then quit for good, at the age of 34. He was elected to the Hall of Fame 34 years later by the Veterans Committee Code:

It appears he is looking to make it two in a row after pouring in 35 points to lead the visiting Pistons past New Orleans 93-81. Hybarger also had 12 rebounds and 4 assists in the win. Teammate Noah Baldin added 23 points for the Pistons while Daniel Gray led the Jazz with 21. The Cleveland Cavaliers remain the league's hottest team by beating one of the coldest in an 86-77 victory at Philadelphia. All five Cleveland starters scored in double figures led by Bob *Brannum's 19 points and 17 rebounds. Elsewhere, Chicago edged Minneapolis 96-94 as AJ Lambert sank a bucket at the buzzer for the win. Vin Concepcion led the Stags with 24 points while Jalon Isenberg and Joe *Fulks topped the Lakers with 22 each. Providence got it's second straight win after 3 losses by beating Kentucky 91-81 while Baltimore beat New York 81-74 despite a career high 20 points from Knicks rookie Paul *Huston. As a freshman he played just 10 minutes a game and averaged only 4.3 ppg but with 3 starters gone from last year's squad it was hoped *Arizin would be ready for full-time duty. It is just one game but judging by the performance of *Arizin and the 21 point effort from senior Weston Barlau the Pirates may be much better than the middle of the pack most Big East experts had them tabbed for. In other action Bradley got 30 points from senior guard Travis Hernandez in an 86-59 win over Mississippi State. One SEC team did have some success yesterday as Tennessee topped Montana State 85-78. Missouri used tenacious defense to top Rice 81-68. The Tigers forced 13 turnovers and held the Owls to 28% shooting. Hunter Moncrieffe had 16 rebounds and 8 blocked shots. Eric Lindsay and Josh Richardson each had 25 points as Temple blasted Rider 93-60. Like Rider, Mid Atlantic Conference squad Iona went down to defeat, losing 82-67 to Charlotte. Drexel beat Tennessee-Martin 98-65 behind a 35 point effort from Christian Wilson. Ivy League Princeton suffered a scare but recovered to edge Tennessee Tech 66-63. Perhaps the hometown crowd did enough to sway the judges as from this observer's perspective Mancini had done enough to win the fight. 2 judges had Montgomery winning by a single point while the third scored it dead even but the end result is that Montgomery still only has one career loss to go with 12 victories. The only blemish on his record was by unanimous decision against unbeaten Ike Williams for the World title. Montgomery is expecting another shot at Williams in the new year. Mancini drops to 14-2-3 with the loss. On the undercard 18 year old middleweight Joey Giardello, a Philadelphia boy, looked impressive in his pro debut knocking out journeyman Gene Buffalo in the 7th round of their scheduled 8 rounder. While he lacks polish, Giradello certainly has the potential to make some noise in the middleweight division. Finally in Italy, a pair of fighters with aim set on Felix Wouters European Welterweight belt battled to a majority draw. Italian Michele Palermo is 19-6-1 for his career while Bep Van Klaveren, who hails from Rotterdam, is 23-10-2. Van Klaveran, who is 38 years old, lost the title to Wouters when he suffered a broken bone in his hand during their bout at the beginning of August. He was using this fight to decide whether he wants a rematch with Wouters, which the new champ had graciously offered. I love Hafey, and get quite irrate when many cite him as a terrible HOF election.
I have poor eyesight and can't hit 70mph in the cage, because of my trouble picking up the ball, yet Hafey was picking up 85+ and breaking balls. He and Sisler are absolutely great HOFers, because they overcame a terrible handicap in baseball |

Lots of excitement as the SWC season comes down to the wire. As for Hafey, he was a tremendous playoff performer in my league and should definately make my Hall of Fame someday.

TIGERFAN'S SPORTING DAILY : THURSDAY NOVEMBER 13, 1947
BOXING MOORE DEFENDS LIGHTHEAVYWEIGHT TITLE Archie Moore overwhelmed Tommy Yarosz in their World Lightheavyweight title bout from Pittsburgh scoring a 3rd round TKO victory. Yarosz looked to be the better fighter in the first round and the early going of round two before he walked into a crushing hook to the jaw late in the second round. From there Moore took over as Yarosz was clearly hurting. Moore came out swinging in the third round and by the mid-point it was clear Yarosz was virtually defenseless. The referee let them continue for another 30 seconds before calling the fight with 15 seconds remaining in the round. The win improves Moore's record to 34-2 and sets the stage for a rematch with Lloyd Marshall early in the new year. Moore won a majority decision over Marshall in August to claim the title. Yarosz drops to 27-9 after losing his second title shot. He was knocked out by Marshall in a world championship bout last year. One other bout of note last night had Jimmy Carter score a 9th round knockout of Allie Stolz in a lightweight battle from Trenton, New Jersey. Carter, a 24 year old New York native, improves to 17-4 and appears ready for a shot at World Champion Ike Williams. 29 year old Brooklyn native Allie Stolz is 17-4-1 but has lost to each of the three top 10 fighters he has faced in the past year. BASEBALL HACK WILSON: SWINGING FOR THE HALL OF FAME Imagine being on a team where you consistantly averaged 40 plus homers and 125-150 rbi's yet you were still considered just the club's third best slugger. That was the fate of Hack Wilson, who despite hitting 428 homeruns over a 10 year period was overshadowed by teammates Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. Originally a New York Giant, Wilson was traded to the Yankees for 2B Tony Lazzeri in 1926. Over the next decade he would combine with Ruth and Gehrig to form the bulk of a power-laden lineup known as Murderers Row. Unfortunately the Yankees pitching was nowhere near the level of their offense and they would win just 2 pennants and no World Championships during that span. That did not stop Wilson from becoming the 4th best homerun hitter of all-time behind Gehrig, Ruth and Jimmie Foxx. He won his only MVP award in 1930 when he led the Yankees to their first pennant of the era and he hit .320 with 4 homers in a 7 game series loss to St Louis. Wilson is up for nomination to the Baseball Hall of Fame but despite a sensational 10 year run he likely does not have the numbers to warrant inclusion. The problem was he only had 10 good years as he really accomplished little before age 28 and by age 37 his career took a drastic downturn. Still, there is little arguing that for a 10 year period Hack Wilson was one of the greatest sluggers of all time. Code:

Pittsburgh got 27 points from Taro Devane and 23 from Ryan Fry in a 103-99 victory over the Pistons in Fort Wayne. Unfortunately for Toronto fans the victory came at a very heavy price as three Leafs, including star center Max Bentley went down with injuries in the game. All three injured players are doubtful for the Leafs next game Saturday night when they host Detroit but there is hope that Bentley and top defenseman Bill Barilko will be healthy enough to play Sunday in Chicago. Meanwhile, defenseman Garth Boesch could miss a couple of weeks with an ankle injury. On the ice Harry Watson had a pair of goals and Bentley had a goal and an assist before leaving the game while Toronto goaltender Turk Broda notched his second shutout of the season in the victory. Meanwhile in New York, Pete Babando's third period goal snapped a 1-1 tie and gave the Boston Bruins a 2-1 victory over the Rangers. New York goaltender Jim Henry was forced to leave the game in the second period when he was hit in the face with a puck forcing the Rangers to put minor leaguer Bob DeCourcey in net. DeCourcey allowed 1 goal on 12 shots. Henry could miss a couple of games while he heals but the good news for the Rangers is that Chuck Rayner is healthy and will be ready for action this weekend. There is one game on the schedule tonight as Chicago visits Montreal. Really great job on the HOF bios. Top notch.
I hope the Chiefs turn things around. Its always dissapointing to hit a bump in the road after a fast start. Last edited by goroyals; 05-04-2005 at 04:44 PM. |

Missing RB Bruce Jones most of the season with a broken foot doesnt help either. Jones had 1655 yards rushing last season and backups Jerry Jackson and Ray Richards have not been able to pick up the slack. They are home to Green Bay this week so that will be a tough test. Season concludes with 5 road games - Indy, Denver, Chicago, Cincy and Cleveland so they have their work cut out for them. Oakland meanwhile finishes with 4 of final 6 at home.

TIGERFAN'S SPORTING DAILY : FRIDAY NOVEMBER 14, 1947
BASEBALL HALL OF FAME CANDIDATE LEFTY WEINERT A great pitcher on a bad team is how Lefty Weinert will be remembered. The 2 time Cy Young award winner had 8 straight 20 win seasons despite the fact his Philadelphia Phillies never finished higher than 4th during that span and never won more than 76 games in a season. Weinert never played a postseason game, and in fact only finished as high as third place once - and that was with Pittsburgh after he was dealt to the Pirates late in his career. He still managed to make 7 all-star teams and won the National League Cy Young in 1931 and 1933. In 1933 he won 24 games while the Phillies as a team managed just 67 victories. Weinert started in the Phillies system as a 20 year old but it was 8 years before he was given the chance to join the big league rotation full-time. His 250 career wins are good for 28th best all-time but because he was never on a winning team Weinert is the most underpublicized 250 game winner in league history. REAL LIFE In real life Weinert, a Philadelphia native, appeared in his first major league game as a 17 year old with the Phillies in 1919. He would play parts of 9 seasons in the majors with stops with the Cubs and Yankees after Philadelphia and compile a career record of 18-33. Code:

The Southwest Conference also has a big showdown as first place Rice entertains second place Texas A&M. The Owls are a perfect 3-0 in SWC play and ranked 4th in the nation with a 6-0-1 record. His opponent was mediocre at best but the unanimous decision victory over Tony Marteliano at least gave Servo supporters cause for optimism. It was over a year ago when Servo was knocked out by Sugar Ray Robinson in the 11th round of their world title bout. Servo would not return to the ring for nine months and when he did he looked very slow in losing to Billy Graham. Three months later he seemed sharper but the best he could do was a draw against Johnny Bratton. With the victory Servo improves to 30-5-2 and there is talk that the 28 year old has his heart set on a rematch with Sugar Ray. Marteliano, a New York native, is 13-20-3 for his career. Elsewhere in a heavyweight tussle in Boston Roscoe Toles scored a unanimous decision over New Englander Lee Q Murray. Toles, a 33 year old Detroit native, improves to 21-5 with the win while Murray drops his second straight decision. The 27 year old is 11-4 for his career. Tiger Jack Fox improved to 22-6 with a unanimous decision over Jimmy Slade. The 39 year old Fox is 22-6 in postwar bouts while the 21 year old Slade falls to 25-10-1. In Halifax, Roy Wouters successfully defended his Canadian Middleweight title with a unanimous decision victory over Al Evans in their 15 round bout. Wouters is 3-1 as a pro. A pair of youngsters made their professional debuts last night. In Cincinnati, Robert xBranham, a 20 year old heavyweight from Kentucky won his first pro bout in convincing fashion, scoring a unanimous decision over Dayton native Johnny Clemons. Clemons drops to 1-2-1 as a pro. Meanwhile Irish lightweight Kevin O'Conor won a split decision in his pro debut against Italian Bruno Bisterzo. Bisterzo falls to 2-13 in his somewhat less than illustrious pro career.

TIGERFAN'S SPORTING DAILY : SATURDAY NOVEMBER 15, 1947
BOXING LOUIS HAS QUICK NIGHT AGAINST CANADIAN CHAMP Joe Louis scored a quick second round knockout of Canadian Heavyweight champion Earl Walls in their bout in the Motor City. Louis, who improves to 11-1 with the victory, was barely touched by the Canadian and sent his opponent to the canvas twice in each round. Walls, with a record that now sits at 20-8, could not beat the count after the final knockdown. The 33 year old Louis remains the number one challenger in the heavyweight division. He lost his crown to World Champion Ezzard Charles in an August bout. Charles will defend that title against Tommy Gomez next Thursday. In other boxing news Joey Maxim scored a unanimous decision over Alabama Kid in a lightheavyweight tussle in Canton, Ohio. Maxim improves to 31-10 while Kid falls to 31-12-2. In Chicago rising bantamweight Benny Goldberg is now 5-1 after a 12 round decision over Harold Dade. The 28 year old Goldberg is originally from Poland and recently advanced to the semi-finals of a tournament for the vacant European Bantamweight title. Dade, once considered to be a fighter on the rise in the bantamweight division, has lost 3 fights recently against top level opponents and is now 23-9-2 overall. In England Cliff Curvis and Ernie Roderick battled to a draw in a fight for Curvis' British Welterweight title. It was the second straight title defense that ended in a draw for Curvis as he had the same result in August against Wally Thom. COLLEGE BASKETBALL ALABAMA BEATS OKLAHOMA A&M IN TOP TEN TUSSLE The Alabama Crimson Tide used a 17-3 run early in the second half as a springboard to a 79-57 road win over Oklahoma A&M. 8th ranked Alabama led 35-31 at the half over the number six rated team in the nation. Sophomore forward Hank *DeZonie led a balanced Tide attack with 15 points and 13 rebounds. Jack *Shelton topped A&M with 13 points. The loss was twice as tough for the Aggies after it was learned that senior point guard Lonnie *Eggleston suffered a stress fracture in his left foot early in the second half. *Eggleston will be sidelined about a month. There were just four other games involving top 25 teams and three of them had easy wins. 15th ranked Illinois got 27 points from junior guard Johnny *Macknowski in a 111-68 victory over Mississippi. Number 16 UCLA beat Oral Roberts 90-78 as sophomore George *Starich had 23 points and 8 assists for the Bruins. San Francisco hammered Duquesne 114-45 with Will Toney's 25 points and Doug Burton's 24 leading the Dons. 21st ranked Syracuse also won but they needed a strong finish to beat the Cornhuskers in Nebraska by a 63-59 count. *BARNSTABLE LEADS IMPRESSIVE CROP OF FRESHMEN With the college basketball season in full swing here is a quick look at 5 freshman you will likely be hearing a lot from over the next 4 years. 1- Dale *Barnstable: Kentucky. The 5'11" point guard from Detroit was just 2-for-15 in his college debut against Virgina but once he gets over the freshman jitters the Wildcats are counting on him to lead the school to great things in the next couple of seasons. 2- Tom Reis : Illinois. A 6'10 power forward from Farmington, Arkansas. Reis struggled in his debut against Oregon but scored 23 points as the Fighting Illini routed Mississippi last night. 3- Chris Carr : South Carolina. The 6'8" forward from Marshall County, Tennessee will play a major role for the Gamecocks this season. 4- Ray Brownlee : Villanova. A 5'9" jitterbug from Proctor, Vermont, Brownlee had 23 points including 6 3-pointers in his debut earlier in the week. He has the makings of a future scoring leader in the Eastern Independant Conference. 5- Neil *Johnston : Baylor. Reminds many of another SWC big man - John Layton. If he can be half the player Layton was in his college days Baylor fans will be thrilled with the 7'1" center from Mineral Wells, Texas. He had 16 rebounds in his college debut. Hmmm, could be a big day for TCU if they can beat both #15 Texas in Football and #5 Washington in basketball. On the road for both. Just a suggestion Tiger Fan, but is there anyway you can add the rankings to the football schedule like you do for basketball. So that the Saturday game for TCU would have read Texas Christian at #15 Texas earlier in the week?
Oh, and I'd love to see a Blackburn upset of Arsenal at Ewood Park. |

Rangers- thanks for the suggestion on including rankings in college football sked. I will begin doing so.
As for Oral Roberts all I can say is oops. I mentioned earlier in this thread that college basketball will be by far the least historically accurate because of the limitations with TDCB in customizing leagues. I searched but could not find anywhere a proper list of all the major college conferences of the era and even if I did I would have to make plenty of changes because TDCB requires 31 conferences of at least 8 teams each and once the conference format is established I cannot make any edits to it. Thus things like the ACC being formed well before its real debut in the early 1950's and Oral Roberts error did occur. I believe I can edit the team names in the game so if anyone has a suggestion for a school that I could add please let me know.

A Big change to the format of this dynasty
I have really enjoyed - no, make that I have been obsessed with this replay for close to a year now but due to a couple of reasons I am going to take it in a little different direction.
The reasons for the change are first of all an expected lack of time over the next couple of months. My wife and I are expecting our second child next week and I am sure my free time will be somewhat curtailed for the next few months. That and my recent positive experience with the Eastside Hockey Manager demo got me thinking where this dynasty will go when OOTP7 and some other new games are released. After struggling greatly with the EHM interface for a week I am now to the point where I am comfortable with it and have become hooked on the level of detail in the game. It is a must try for anyone who even moderately enjoys hockey. I wish it had some kind of historical play capability but since it doesnt I will adapt my allsports dynasty to it and to what I hope OOTP7 becomes. My goal by the time OOTP7 is released, hopefully in the fall I guess, is to have my allsports replay caught up to 2005 and I can then restart the dynasty with a focus on the four major North American sports and probably boxing with TBCB as well. With what I have seen from Eastside - specifically the depth of detail and challenge running a junior or minor league squad will give me - my dynasty will likely focus on a small town newspaper with coverage of our junior or minor hockey and baseball teams which I will run while the NHL, MLB, NBA, NFL and college football and basketball take place in the background. I am still undecided who I will run but assuming full lisencing for OOTP7 I am considering having my dynasty based in Erie, Pa. That will allow me to be the general manager of the Tigers Class AA Eastern League affiliate the Erie Seawolves as well as the Ontario Hockey League's Erie Otters. The dynasty will then have 2 distinct sections to it. The first will be my day to day challenges and successes with the 2 franchises I run. The second will be basic newspaper accounts on what is going on in the rest of the sports world at the time. This allows me to keep with the allsports concept that I have come to enjoy. I will have all the other leagues running alongside with the OOTP7 and EHM engines so there will be regular MLB and NHL reports. I will also continue to include basketball and football, which I expect to be greatly enhanced with the anticipated release of Grey Dog Software's new Bowl Bound College game. If Bowl Bound is compatiable with TPF like it is rumoured to be it will give me a full progression from college/minors to pro in all 4 major sports. Now as I said it is not being abandoned but rather taken in a new direction and the plan for this direction is to quick sim seasons from 1947 to modern day in each of the sports I anticipate being able to use the same game. Baseball - Markus has not answered definately one way or another on whether OOTP6 leagues can be converted to OOTP7 but I will sim out the current TSN baseball league to modern day just in case. New features in OOTP7 may make it more beneficial to start fresh with a 2005 league when OOTP7 is released but I will cross that bridge when I get there. Basketball - I will continue both the NBA and college in their present forms. I believe that will likely limit me to a 20 team NBA come modern day but I am hopeful I can figure out a workaround for expansion. If so I will likely just expand once, maybe in the mid-70's to get to the current level of teams. I will continue to add real NBA players as high school seniors and will post quick year by year recaps so we will hopefully see players like Russell, Chamberlain and later Magic and Bird dominate the game as I continue. Who knows maybe even some of the board-member named players will have big careers. The drawback to this plan is my college game will not be using real conference allignments for the modern era since I cannot edit those once a career has been started. We will also be missing some of the newer entrants to division 1A but I really dont want to scrap the history my league has developed and basketball will be a background sport anyway. Football - I will sim with TPF likely right through to modern day as well. Depending upon a release time for Bowl Bound I may be able to build some college history as well. Like basketball, I will continue to add the top real life NFL rookies into my league each season as I go along and I will provide a brief end of season update each year. The college game will fall by the wayside until Bowl Bound is released but I will finish up the 1947 season mainly for those Southwest conference fans. BOXING - Depending on time I would like to simulate at least all the title fights in the main division through from the 40's until today. Golf, horseracing, auto racing, soccer and the olympic games program I was working on will dissappear at least until modern day due to time constraints. I hope no one is upset with these changes and you continue to follow the occassional update as I go from year to year over the summer to get ready for my new All-Sports Replay when OOTP7 and Bowl Bound make their debuts. Sorry for abandoning the format but it is the only way I can see the dynasty continuing with OOTP7. However, I think it is far better to abandon the format rather than the entire dynasty. If Yoda's top 75 taught me anything it is how irratating a writer not bringing his dynasty to a conclusion can be. This way it will progress to 2005 - and beyond.

Sounds like a great idea TF, you'll still have my readership.
It should be good around here the next few months. We get another HOB, along with a HOF, a HOPB, and a HOCB! And also, good luck with the new addition to the family! Last edited by goroyals; 05-13-2005 at 10:15 PM. |

TF, this thing is gigantic, and really, we (and probably more importantly, you) wouldn't want it done halfway. Plus, family always comes first. Change it to suit your needs as we are but sheep to our shepherd.

Thanks for the well wishes, guys. Not quite as nervous this time around as we were with the first child, but close.
