that would be a tough one because did he look impressive or did he look impressive because he was fighting a completely shot fighter with two bad knees .... no excuses, good win but I think we would need to see a couple of more MW fights to get a good MW rating for him ... gotta remember he is just two fights removed from getting completely dominated by Austin Trout

I'm going to simulate his JMW rating against Sergio at "end" career stage. I would rather hold off and see how he does against a prime middleweight though I suspect that a high profile fighter from a higher weight class moves to middleweight on paper to challenge him.

I read that Roach said he's never seen GGG fight but he doesn't have any issue with putting Miguel in with GGG.

Hard to believe he's never seen him fight but Roach better take a look @ GGG before he does that to Cotto.

I also saw Cotto will return in Dec.

True, I'm just surprised Cotto's power gave Sergio so many problems. Maybe a combo of Sergio's age/knees & the fact he faced bigger but slower MW's made him look better.

In Cotto he faced a smaller but quicker man so Sergio lost his speed edge.

Both fighters are past their primes but if it was a one sided fight, I expected Sergio to do that more to Cotto than the other way around.
