1) When one is drafting and selecting a column to sort by, say last year's HRs, once a player is picked in the draft, the sorting column changes. In fact, it looks like it changes back to default alpha by player name but in reality there are numerous players not sorted by alpha.
It would be nice to have the sorting key remain the same until one clicks on another column to sort. For example, sorting by player ratings such as power, Ruth, Foxx are top 2 names listed, pick Ruth, list remains same with Foxx now at the top. 2) Multiple column sorting would be nice too. Since so many ratings can be the same, sorting by column A, then column B would be helpful. |

Markus, thanks for this opportunity. This is something I've asked about before and I hope you can get it in. I play out all my games and on the field view the catcher currently shows
arm:58 pb:2 instead could we have the arm rating and then either the current runner thrown out pct or the thrown out\ attempts like this... Arm:58 ThO: 23\52 (this would be my first choice) or Arm:58 ThO:44.2% IMHO this information is much more relevent to my in game managing than the opposing catcher's passed ball rating. Thanks Last edited by Sweed; 05-31-2005 at 11:07 AM. |

Ability to expand from 1 league to 2 would be nice, as would playoffs in a 1-league set-up. That and editable notes on each player-card!

Would it be posible to have the first line in the player history to be the year a player entered the draft? (I usualy run an eight round draft but create ten rounds of player) I like all of my players to have a history

I forgot another one.
Would having a league wide injury report listing the duration of time still injured be difficult? Same type of report in Diamond Mind Baseball.

Maybe rework the contract negotiation comments from the player. Too many times a player "doesn't like the organization" or "wants to play for a winner" when he's already on the championship team, or a team in 1st or 2nd place.

^^^^ Good point. On a similar note, watch 'I need more playing time' on short-season leagues or instances when a player got traded.

Scouting Directors
I love the coaches and scouts and it would improve the realism if, when viewing another team's roster, the ratings and scouting reports shown are according to MY scout's scouting abilities, not that team's scout. As it stands now, if a team has no scouting director, no ratings appear only for his team. If a team has no scouting director, the entire league should have ratings hidden from that GM, until he gets a scouting director. We GM's who have scouts should be able to see ratings of another teams players regardless of whether he has a scouting director or not.
Thanks Markus! Love the game...and keep up the great work!!

How about, instead of a massive Transactions Report for the entire league season, a way of getting a Transactions Report for just the past week? If it's easy to code (I hope so), it would make up for the time you spend in the time we save after, oh, about three Transaction checks ...

On the pitcher's lineup screen, how about displaying the number of days rest needed until not "tired". I know you can click on the pitcher to see that information plus pitch count, but it would be nice to have it on the main screen. Same is true for relievers in case you want to shuffle the bullpen around to account for long relief outings.

Ok, this one is probably too big, but how about allowing steals with 2 strikes?
Also, I second the expansion of the Top Prospect list to 20 per team, even if the one on the main news screen stayed at 100. Or, what about adding their overall league-wide rank to the team Top Prospect list?

Oh man - I alomost forgot this even though I've been carrying it around for years !! A Hall-of-Fame HTML Report !!
I hate the idea of never having the ability to publish this without constructing it myself.

I'm not sure how difficult this would be to look into, but reliever quality needs to be looked into. Right now, in the game, starter E.R.A. is better than bullpen E.R.A. and it should be the other way. Also, some pitchers (not all, though) should be more effective as relievers than starters. I'm not sure if that should be done by coding some sort of ratings boost, or what, but relief pitcher quality is not where it should be in the game.

It would be cool if every trade caused a news item. Even something simple that went over a player's stats and long term expectations if a prospect was traded.
This might be asking too much but.. A way to make short seasons financially possible. If a 50 game schedule is set automatically increase revenue by 70% (50/162 = 30%). I know it's possible to play a short season now but it seems like we have to jump through a lot of hoops. What about a screen that ranks each team's top prospect at each position?

What I would like to see is in Talent only leagues, show the talents of the players in the upper right corner of the general overview instead of an empty box! That way we don't need to open the player ratings screen all the time to check the talents.
