Well...my other league forces you to have 20 participation points which you can earn by exporting 10 times straight, writing articles, playing games *Around the Horn, etc*) It's a real active league and is verrrrrrrrrrrry sucessful

One way to get guys who do not like to write or just don't feel like they would be very good at it...is have them participate in something interview style. For example...someone comes up with some questions...the GM answers the questions....and than someone puts it together. In one of my leagues we've had things that were similar to Pardon the Interuption, Around the Horn, and 10 Burning Questions...and in another league...The Hot Seat. Most people don't mind answering some questions via email or over AIM...and it does add to the article that the writer is getting direct replies, more than if the writer was just writing from his or her own perspective or opinions.

The other way someone who doesn't write could do would be to manage the one or some of the awards ballots, IE All-Star or End of Season awards (assuming their is a GM vote on such things).

I am willing to maintain Catobase or something else on the website.

EDIT - I could also handle the things that HolyCow mentioned, All-Star Ballot, Awards, etc.

Sheesh, don't be so hard on the owners. Some of them actually look fairly decent.

Although Catobase I can maintain, I could use some help with the all-star ballot. That damn thing takes me a ton of time, and if I had one person do each league, that would be great. So if you wanted to do that (Do you know HTML?) Then I'd be happy to have you in the league.

Well since I probably still have a template from my last league and it's more just terdius editing of names and links, that should be fine.

The league is now full, however I'm watching every owner pretty carefully and they won't be getting many chances if they screw up this early into the league. So if you'd like to be contacted in the event of a team opening, feel free to post here.

You're a little late, DH. I think someone made that joke earlier in the thread.

Yep, I saw that after posting, but deleting extraneous posts is no longer an option.
