Hmm. It sounds like the batch file is starting out in the wrong directory, somehow. I'm not sure why that happens (and, to be honest, it never happened on my two installs), but the patch I posted earlier in this thread (post #17, to be specific) should do the job for you.

if you have my newest roster set, the 24th of August i think, eriqjaffe's email is in the readme file and he will be more than willing to help you out in that area if need be

OK, this should let you update the installer:

1) Unzip the attached file to your OOTP6 directory (probably c:\program files\out of the park developments\ootp 6).

2) Unzip Halofan's roster set to the same directory.

3) At this point, you should have the following things in your OOTP6 directory:

1) halofanupdate.lg (a directory)
2) MLB 2004 for OOTP 6.lg (another directory)
3) MLBUpdate.bat (you may or may not see the .bat extention)

4) Double-click on the MLBUpdate.bat file. That'll bring up a DOS prompt that should copy the relevant files from the halofanupdate.lg folder to the MLB folder.

5) Play the game!

Hope it works for everybody...

This is great. The whole all-in-one install was a great idea, and you guys are on the bounce with your updates and just keep it hopping. Good job.

Eriq, you should make an all-in-one installer for every single season starting with 1901. Why? Just for the hell of it.

I concur with the folks that have already posted, this kicks ass. The only thing that i'd ask is to have the beginning of the year rosters as well, but that's not a big deal.

if it helps, my start of the season roster is available on my site and you can just use the process eriq mentioned above and just replace it with the start of the season rosters of mine

Nah, I wouldn't ask eriq for his wife or free hosting. That's what I got you for Mike.

Yeah, you can. All of the relevant files have been copied over to the MLB 2004 folder.

I know that this post is late, but this is a great installer. HOWEVER, in the league setup I tried to change the financial set up and it wouldn't let me. It would be great to be able to play a career mode with this installer and set up. Great none the less and I want to say thank you. Is there a chance that a patch might come out that I can change the financial set up?

You should be able to set up the league financials as you want them, there's nothing disabling it. If you've started a Manager Mode career, that may restrict things, but I don't use Manager Mode, so I don't know if that's the case.

I just re-installed the league, and I was able to monkey around and change all the financials all I wanted...

The only patch I am planning would be an end-of-season roster patch...
