I kinda figured that feature would be holding up the works.

I personally would rather wait. You could have posted any feature up there and people would want the game now.

A Beta vote would have won. I think releasing the game in it's complete state would be a reward for those not whining about release, release, release.

I mean really. What is another week or 2?

Before we start begging Markus for a release today, maybe we could calmly ask Markus when he thinks it would be released if he did not include the H2H stuff for the initial release.

I have no problem waiting for implementation at a later date. Releasing the game at this point in time would sure quell a majority of the bickering.

Personally, online play is something I have been asking for since version 2 but I much prefer to have the game sooner and that much needed feature can be added in a couple of weeks. For those of you that say you won't use it, just wait till Markus makes that the best he can and you will really enjoy it I guarantee you!

So one of the biggest supporters for Online Play votes... YES! lets get the new version out as soon as Markus is comfortable with it.

But honestly, I agree with what everyone else says. Everyone wants the game, and we can all wait a few weeks for online play. Better than waiting a few weeks for the entire game.
Oh well, maybe we can get a release sometime in the near future.

I like the idea of h2h matchups, but I'm looking fwd to the other enhanced features, such as 40man roster, rule v draft, etc. much much more.....

I only play solo so it doesn't matter to me if H2H never makes it in.

Anyway, I assume most of us will spend at least a few days familiarizing ourselves with the new features of OOTP6 before we do anything drastic like switching existing OOTP5 leagues into OOTP6. I personally have a solo league I'll import into OOTP6 eventually. But I'll wait till I'm fully comfortable with the way the new game engine works.

For all the foregoing reasons, Markus, don't wait to finish head-to-head play before releasing OOTP6!! If you can shave a week off the development time, and assuming your old estimate of mid-April included finishing head-to-head coding and testing, then I guess we can now expect to see OOTP6 by April 7. Right?

Markus updates and gives us a good idea when the game is going to be realeased then he starts a poll and leaves us hanging on the edge again anout when the game would release without the H2H. LOL hopefully we get another update after results!
