Did anyone notice that Weaver hasn't even warmed up in the postseason?
And yes Weaver is a joke, he should have stayed with the tigers!! |

I'm not sure if Pettitte will get enough rest to pitch Saturday.....I would bet on Contreras.......it wouldn't shock me if they have to use Weaver in one of the first couple of games though (in relief), although I hope not!!!

Looks like it's Wells. But, I would have to assume it'll be a quick hook to Contreras if it looks like Wells is out of gas.

Why did he decide to Dusty Pedro and then decide it was important to go for lefty/righty matchups when it's tied. Did he not watch the NLCS ?????

Not to take anythin away from the Sox, but the Yanks were frustrating me by tryin to hit homeruns all series long (even in game 7). Finally in the eighth, they just let things happen. Which is the old Yankee way. Anyway, congrats to the Sox. What a hell of a series. Really. But, I do wanna say that I dont think Grady Little should be criticized so heavily. I'm only gonna say one thing about this and just this one (no matter who disagrees with me b/c I already know people will)... In the most important game of the season (at that point), who else would you rather have the ball in his hands at the most important time of the game? Let the disagreements come. I won't respond. Just sayin what I feel. |

I just wanted to put my thoughts into one of the 14 threads dedicated to the Red Sox/Yankees series so I chose this one since it was started by my favorite Red Sox fan this side of Denton True.
I really did not have a strong preference who won this series. As I stated at the beginning, I just wanted a good one. This series gave me a little bit of everything and a ton of excitement! I was fortunate to watch about 75% of the innings played in the seven games. The World Series will be hard pressed to match up against the two LCS this season!

The bully has been nails all postseason long and Pedro/Grady let this one get away. Leaving Pedro in is indefensible on every level there is.
